Guard Your ID Advanced Wide Roller Identity Theft Prevention Security Stamp, Green, 38492

I purchased these a few years back on QVC and just now had to buy new ones. They are quick and easy to use and work great. I keep it on my counter next to the trash and go through my mail everyday and "roll it" then toss it.

We love these little helpers. We give them as gifts and the recipients are always stunned at how very useful they are to help protect identity.

I first purchased this "Advanced Wide" roller and it works great on normal office paper, as well as glossy mailing labels and prescription bottles. You do have to give it time to dry on glossy surfaces. It will easily wipe off it you try to do so while it's still wet, but give it some time to dry, and it's smudge free. We leave this wide one in the kitchen drawer. I wanted a smaller version to keep in the desk drawer, so ordered the three pack of narrower rollers to keep around the house. Note that there are several options in purchasing these rollers. They come in regular and "Advanced" versions, AND normal and wide width sizes. In this case, "advanced" does not mean "wide". The "Advanced" version works on office and glossy papers and the regular just works on normal printer paper. Normal width will cover typical envelope/header information in one swipe, and the wide will cover larger areas like info on a mailing label. If you want this to cover on glossy papers/labels, make sure you get the "Advanced" version. Both the wide and regular widths of Advanced rollers work on glossy paper, shipping labels and prescription bottle labels as well as regular office paper. One thing to note, is that the premise of obscuring your name & address, is based on the random markings of this roller. It's meant to obscure ... not cover. Swiping this once over your address does an excellent job to obscure your information. Rolling it back and forth, over and over, eventually results in just covering your information in a solid black coat which then allows your information to show through underneath. Less is more, in this case. Think camouflage rather than paint over. I've since purchased another 3-pack of these so I can have one anywhere I need one. I keep one in the garage next to the mail slot so I can toss junk mail straight into the recycle bin without having to bring it into the house first, one in the entry console table so I can swipe out delivery labels as soon as I get them, and one in the office. I know shredding is a more secure way to protect your address information and we do have a shredder for more personal and financial documents. My use of these are just for home personal mailings and address labels, and for that purpose, these work great.

That you can not refill ink in this device. Works well in crossing out info..

This product is slick. No more shredding mail labels. You just swipe (roll) over the address and it is covered. This one does not come with refills, but for me, that’s great. I don’t want to deal with refilling. I already recommended this to my friends.

These work so well, and I dont know what Id do without them! I particularly like the wide roller. This helps me cut down on having to run smaller items, e.g., small junk mail items, through my shredder. I reserve my shredder for bigger documents. Look for bundled deals on these rollers. Love these!!
