Freezer is a Champ - It froze 18 Gallons of Fruit Juice over-night.
The Freezer works awesome. It has a 3/4 Hp compressor motor which is bigger than most. It cooled from 60 degrees down to -7 in about 25 minutes. It arrived with dents. Which I should have refused delivery. I didn't so I can't blame anyone but myself. I researched a lot of freezers before setting my cross-hair on it. My only wish is the mfg. had a Stainless steel version of this with 3/4 Hp motor. Can't complain about the price or the ease of setting up the unit. I would recommend this to someone else.

Horrendous Glue Smell Inside Freezer
This is the third Arctic Air commercial Freezer I've purchased in the last twenty years. It is by far the worst. The unit is very noisy. Although it has more cubic space it doesn't seem to have the same amount of room inside the unit as the last two I owned. It cost twice as much as the last Arctic Air I bought back in 2014.The main reason I dislike it so much is the horrible airplane glue smell that came with the unit.I have experienced this nasty chemical smell before in other cheaply made appliances.I had hoped it would fade or go away after using the freezer for a while, unfortunately it has gotten stronger. The glue smell inside the freezer is overwhelming. Food stored inside the unit reeks of it, rendering it inedible.I believe this chemical smell will never go away. Worse, Arctic Air refuses to warrant their commercial freezer if it is being used in a residential address.I would not recommend this product or this company. This freezer was made by a company who would void a warranty just because of the location the unit is housed in.Arctic Air should stand behind their product no matter what.It is clear to me Arctic Air knowingly cut corners on the manufacturing of this freezer.Because of this, it will be the last Arctic Air I will buy.

The delivery men left and did not remove the box for me to inspect the freezer .It wasn’t until the next day when I had help to remove the box that we notice a don’t on the bottom left back part of freezer . I am not text savvy but I have piyof the truck and freezer .I must wait until my granddaughter comes over to send you the information

Extremely quick to cold temperature.
This freezer looks industrial/commercial. Got down to temperature extremely fast (imho). 70 to -7 in 35 minutes. Easy to add the castors after delivery. Love the temperature display. Great freezer.

Be prepared to assemble upon arrival
COVID-19 caused a stop of production, so freezers were scarce. We felt lucky to have found this purchase on Amazon. The Product was shipped in a big cardboard box. It arrived with several holes in the box and the bottom of the box was missing. Only a minor inconsequental dent was made on the bottom corner of the freezer. First shock was the freezer door was locked ! Second shock, "it did not have wheels". We were able to use a totally different key to get inside. Inside were 2 KEYs, a manual, and a styrofoam box which contained the 4 wheels and required bolts. Fortunately we had the right tools on hand (dolly, wrench, etc). Next challenge was a 2-person job, we had to lean the freezer 45-degrees in order to install the wheels on the bottom. We made sure the freezer was on level concrete and plugged itin. It took a good part of the day to reach -3 degrees. We waited 3-days with it empty to make sure it was running right. Several days have passed with the freezer loaded with food at 50% capacity and everything seems to be working fine. So far we are very pleased with the purchase. Just ordered 2 sets of wire freezer organizer baskets.

JUNK Impossible to fix $2000 WASTED!
2 years of gentle home use and it quit. Called the company and they said good luck.. I paid 2 different technicians to look at it. Both could not believe how awful this design is. Compressor is good but will have to come out to access the problem electrical parts. That involves removing everything and CUTTING the refrigerant lines to compressor. Estimated repair cost on this nearly new unit is around $1000 parts and labor. Freezer was VERY hard to open when it was working and no door shelves either. It was all I could find at the beginning of the pandemic. Made in CHINA crap with no support from the seller. Cheaper to buy an $800 unit from a big box store that is capable of being fixed instead of this POS. A V O I D
