I used this on my pellet gun to mount a better sight that needed a military type mount. This worked fine. I do not think this would be too good for anything larger than a .223, but it is a secure and durable mount for my replacement light scope.

I'm not one for writing reviews but in this case I believe that one isin order. This is a truly wonderful product and performs as advertised. A word of cation- It does not have an arrestor pin like many others.So if you're prone to sleepless nights over scope creep get aBeeman/Sportmatch scope stop also, or just get the Dampa or another onepiece mount/adapter that suits your needs. Some of that "Blue Goo"(Locktite)never hurts too.

Top quality product. And made in the USA. Can't beat that. However, it is a 3/8" dovetail to weaver mount NOT 1913 Picatinny rail mount. Big difference. If using quality removable mount with a stop it won't work. Too bad. No other complaints.

Bought this for an air rifle which has a problem with scope shifting. Has held the scope from shifting. Seems for me a costly fix but works.
