Can you tell me what is actually in the blend of herbs and spices besides hyssop and Sumac please ?

The ingredients we use is Hyssop, Sesame Seeds, Sumac, Olive oil, Salt. This list is also according to the quantity of each ingredient. As to the May Contain declaration, it is a mandatory allergenic claim we have to use considering we do process other products and like any manufacturer, cross contamination is possible and for people who are allergic, even a few parts per million can have an effect.

how many mg of salt(sodium) per serve? salt is mentioned in the ingredients,but not specified how mg on nutrition label(I have blood pressure problem)

Thank you for your question. The amount per serving is 0 because of the rounding regulation of the FDA. We use a really small amount of salt and only because it is part of the traditional recipe. In order to give you an idea, we use around 0.5 percent of salt in our blend so if you take a teaspoon of our blend and use it, about 0.5 percent of it is salt. Hope this helps.

Ingredients list says olive oil, but this is a dry spice packet... How is that?

The key is realizing that the amount used is very little. The mix is not a dusty dry or powdery pile of spice. I am guessing that the oils in the spices are releasing and blending in a forward manner with the assistance of the olive oil. This would give a better balance and a more immediate intense flavor when used in applications where there is no extended cooking.
