Pretty high quality scraper for the price. I did not purchase it for food use but I am sure it would work well for scraping the food out of cooled off pans. Seems durable especially for the price.

I use this to scrape my lawn mower deck, and since it's plastic, I don't have to worry about scraping paint off.

I recently installed new quartz counter tops in my kitchen. I make at least one pie a week and when I roll the dough out, it sometimes sticks to the counter tops a little. I didn't want to use a metal scraper, so I ordered this. It works quite well to scrape the pie dough off the counter without scratching the countertop. I could see where buying more than one of these is different colors for different uses could be handy, but when I ordered mine, all that was available was white. Also, I like the longer handle.
