I love this sound machine! The actual sounds are high quality. Battery life is long. I use it on and off throughout the day and all night for my newborn and I only have to charge it once a week. Love that it turns off on its own and turns on when baby makes a noise. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I'm not thrilled about the clip. Its not large enough to attach to our car seat so I have to put it between babies legs and its probably uncomfortable for baby, but not as uncomfortable as not sleeping. I wish the clip was a little larger, but this is still an awesome product and worth the purchase.

I bought this for my baby as his other sound machine stopped working. We live is a small two bedroom apartments and white noise is crucial. I was excited for this product as I had seen great reviews and was small enough to carry around (car, traveling) and to place in an inconspicuous place.The sound gets louder and you can adjust it nicely. It is loud for how small of a device, but unfortunately, the big downside, was that it turns off after a certain time (20-30) minutes, and then it turns back on when it hears a noise. It has a sensor so it turns back on. Downside: it turns on with whatever noise though, not just crying. So sometimes I would wake my baby up by tiptoeing in her room to grab something, or if she was in my room, etc., so with the device turning back on, on full blast, it would startle him and wake him up... which defeated the purpose of having a sound machine to muffle noise in the background. So annoying.On long car rides, it worked great, because the movement and the sound of it all would just make the sound machine go on and on continuously. If it had an option to not turn off, or to turn off after after a much longer time (like when everyone in the household is asleep) then that might work best.

Overall we are happy with this product, we use it with our newborn (constantly for the last 5 weeks). Only one issue for us, it has an automatic feature which causes it to shut off after 30 minutes. Which is okay sometimes, and the absolute worst thing in the world other times. Often it will shut off right when our baby is just barely asleep and we have to frantically do something to get it to turn on. It would be perfect if you could turn that feature on or off.Otherwise we have been very pleased with sound quality, battery life soo far is amazing, and the options for the sounds are pretty good.

It is great for on the go. The clip makes it easy to just attach to the car seat when taking naps on the go and the wide base to put near the crib. The sound is loud enough and perfect for any baby. It is actually proven babies (and adults!) will get a better sleep when utilizing white noise style sounds. My baby is obsessed!

EDIT: we have not had this for very long and it has worked like a charm with my now almost 7 months old. Now though, it will only play the sound at the lowest and the highest volume. It cuts out in the mid-range volume where we prefer to have it set.This thing is amazing! I have my 5 month old in a Magic sleep suit and just that was not cutting it. He seems to be like me and wakes at the slightest noise. He also wouldn't let me put him to bed awake- he had to be dead asleep before I could put him down. I was lucky if he slept for an hour at night on his own. With this, he falls asleep on his own and goes back to sleep once awakened. He has been averaging 4 to 7 hours a night before he needs to nurse.My only complaint is that the top piece that adjusts the volume seems like a flimsier plastic.

We bought this for my son when he was born in February. He loved it! It was a lifesaver in helping him fall and stay asleep. The clip was too small to fit on our car seat handle, so that was a bummer. I liked the feature that it turned off after 30 minutes, then turned on again if a noise was made.However, it stopped working last week. :( Very disappointed, since we’ve only had it for two months!!

Nighttime life saver. Shusher sound is a little echoey. The real shusher sound machine sounds so much better. I like the rain sound in it and that it will turn back on after it turns off if it hears the baby and soothe him back to sleep. Good battery life too.

The idea of portability is good but the sound is a very short repeat and gets old quickly. My son likes music and not just white noise when he sleeps. I was hoping for more options than the one song. I ended up buying another machine that I am much more satisfied with.
