Actually is a gamechanger!
The question that people seem to be discussing here is whether this pedal is, in fact, a gamechanger. My own response would be yes because it can change your approach to your instrument, especially for guitar. My Plus arrived 2 days ago and I've spent about 8 hours becoming familiar with it. It took me two hours to go from "I think I might have made a mistake buying this" to "I'd better buy another one right away in case something happens to this one!" (Which I'm doing.) Others here have noted how solid the manufacture is (and it is -- flawless, as far as I can see). However, the thing that makes this device exceptional is the design of the user interface. I've previously used another sustainer and it was a struggle to control it. With the Plus, once you get the hang of "attack and then pedal" (instead of "attack and pedal at the same time"), it is remarkably easy to control. The quality of resultant sound is exceptional -- same as originating instrument. The pedal itself (not the whole device, but the thing you actually press down on) is solid and has exactly the right amount of resistance. I play pedal steel and this reminds me of the pedal action on a great steel -- smooth and even. Knob operation is clear and accessible. The settings are so varied that possibility of getting different sounds seems endless -- I imagine I'll be growing into the Plus for a few months. This pedal is worth every penny. It's a real technical and musical accomplishment.

A Befitting Name For Sure
Even though I've only recently purchased this pedal, I feel that I've only scratched the surface of it's capabilities. There's a world of possibilities in this pedal...and that feels like an understatement. The four knob controls (blend, sustain, rise and tail) have wide parameters and the touch sensitivity of the pedal itself has the feel of a fine musical instrument. From smooth chord connection and the overlapping of chords (hitherto only possible on a piano) to building layers of sound (up to 5), this is not a one trick pony. Spend a few hours with it and let your musical mind revel in the possibilities. Not to go unnoticed, the pedal has an elegant look and is built like a tank.

Beautifully engineered, well constructed, good looking, flawed hunk of Junk
Too expensive for what it does (which isn't much) so I returned it. Simply put... Not useful for performance. Perhaps OK for bedroom noodling if you are burdened with too much money.Loops are glitchy, and they admit that in the instructions by putting the onus on user timing.I would describe this pedal as a failed implementation of a great concept. If it was a car I would car it a Cadillac with a Fiat engine.I give it two stars because it looks good.

Unique pedal in so many ways
I actually began my search looking for infinite sustain pedals like the Electro-Harmonix Freeze Sound Retainer Compression Guitar Effects Pedal but wasn't happy with the sound, the versatility, or the usability.I hesitated quite a bit before buying the Gamechanger Audio Plus because of the cost but it was well worth it. it has a gorgeous, unique look and the piano pedal is much more than just aesthetics. It's much easier to control than a button and provides more feedback. It does offer gradual control (off, half, full) and short tap (kill switch) and short half press (removes the last recorded layer). One of the most unique features is the ability to layer and sustain up to five different sounds !I'm also using the Gamechanger Audio Plus Pedal Footswitch and it offers some extra versatility by letting you switch easily between Mix (Dry+Wet) and Split Modes (Wet) and also offers a separate Dry Out.It was a bit disappointing that it did not come with a power adapter (draws too much for a 9V Battery) but it's not a big deal because most users will probably already be using a pedal power supply like the one I use: Truetone 1 SPOT PRO CS7 with 7 Isolated Outputs

Very sweet sostenuto effects pedal.
Very pleased with the Gamechanger Plus pedal. This unit when integrated into my pedal set up provides me ( saxophone player ) the ability to have a note held for as long as I want, while I riff on top of it. There is a learning curve, depending upon personal skill set, to get the held note just right; pressing the pedal at the right instant after the note is struck. Have yet to try out the layering effect. Not quite as tonal as my own held sostenuto, especially when I add vibrato at the phrase end, but very impressive none the less. Makes for more soft groovy sounds in my solo act. And with my rock band, the guys are impressed and still trying it out to find the good fit in our arraignments. Great investment to expand my cool sounds, very satisfied. Can’t wait to tryout with my lame guitar playing.

Amazing versatile well built solid pedal
This is one of the most amazing pedal out there for a variety of instrument; from guitars to woodwinds or strings. It is extremely flexible and easy to use.It indeed does work basically like a piano pedal but can do so much more. 5 stars all the way,

Cool & Intuitive, but a bit pricy for the scope
TL;DR: Fantastic, easy to use, and a jam inspiring pedal that I would buy again in a heartbeat. Only con is that is a unitasker in a very high price range.First off, I love this pedal, and it does the one thing it is supposed to (sustain) fantastically and with no learning curve. You can change some aspects of the sustain, wet-dry mixes, it functions really well and is a super fun tool for doing kinda atmospheric jams with yourself super easily. Any tool that makes you pick up your instrument more often, and makes you play longer, is an inspiration tool that is worth it in my book, and this pedal absolutely does that. The one knock on it that keeps it from 5 stars is that it should be priced below 300 for a pedal that is essentially a one trick pony. You can the vary the sound, but not as much as you can in some of the competition, this survives on the pleasure and simplicity of using it.
