Happy Customer of Katana
Excellent quality especially for the price. A little bit of white coating gets on the blade I think because of acclimated temperature adjusting. Also some of the white comes from the inside of the scabbard. Not a big deal. I purchased three of the katanas one square and two ovals at the Tsuba and all are crafted beautiful and are strong. I do recommend this company and this katana to anyone looking to add to their arsenal of Martial Arts Weaponry for Kobudo Training. As a practitioner of Martial Arts and SanDan 3rd degree Black Belt in ZenShotoKai I am satisfied completely with 40 years of experience. Jimmi.

This katana is absolutely like a ninja sword.
I like the dragon scabbard of the sword. The tip of the black blade is razor sharp. I cleaned the blade of the sword and it looked good as new. I used the sword to hang it on the table next to the television of the guest room. The sword looks perfect on the stand in the guest room and I find that this katana is the excellent choice to decorate the room.

I would buy again!
I use for practice as i have surpassed the use of bonito/ boken and have no intention of going back. The sword is well made and well crafted for the price. Not perfectly balanced. I would not use for battle and I absolutely would not clash with another metal. Great sword for the price is my overall conclusion. I would most likely get another one from this seller if the have styles I admire.

Well worth the money.
It came very well packaged and actually was delivered way before it was supposed to be. It’s very sturdy and beautiful. It was well worth the price possibly even more.

Great purchase.
This was a gift for my son. He loves it. He says the blade is his favorite part. Great value for the money and a nice addition to his collection.

Great Sword for a Great Price
The World Martial Arts Masters buy swords to give as awards to Martial Arts Masters. We do not charge anyone to receive an award and our members pay for them. We want to honor as many Martial Artiest as we can, so we look for a look for a Great Sword for a Great Price. This sword looks and feels great! You wont find a better sword at this price.

good deal
This sword is very good quality for the price, if you want a katana but don't want to spend $150 this is for you. More for looks than for use but I am very happy nonetheless. Only downfall is the packaging is cheap and could potentially be slightly damaged.

Good for display, or sharpening practice if you don't mind the paint
Pros:-Comes somewhat sharp out of the box-Sturdy, secured with two pegs in the handle. Blade does not wobble or rattle at all. Has a nice weight to it.-Looks nice in and out of the scabbard (except for a small problem I'll describe below)-Stand and scabbard are nice, if a bit basic.Cons:-As another reviewer pointed out, the blade says "China" on it near the hilt and there is no hamon line as shown in the pictures, over or under the paint.-The first time I drew the sword, I saw that the black blade was covered in spots of white wax. It's very unsightly and was disappointing to see. On top of that, the wax gets back on the blade every time it's sheathed and unsheathed. Over time, the wax getting on the sword has partially gone away and it's not as bad as it was at first. Just keep wiping the wax off the blade and it should go away over time. I think the wax keeps the blade from rusting while shipping, so I'd say it's better than having a rusted blade.-The sword is not properly fitted into the scabbard, as another reviewer noted. This means that the sword will not stick inside the scabbard if you hold it by the scabbard upside down (or possibly sideways at a downward angle), though you really shouldn't do that, anyway.-The black wrap on the handle tends to slip out of place a bit, but not to the point where I felt I would lose my grip.-The tsuba on mine is off-center and the blade is slightly crooked.Other:-The blade is painted black, meaning that color will come off if you sharpen it. I wish I had just gotten a sword without a painted blade, but this is okay for $42. I intended to use this as a sword that I wouldn't be super upset about if I messed it up learning to sharpen it with a whetstone. It serves that purpose fairly well. I do wish I didn't have to remove the paint on parts of the blade that I can't polish, though.
