Louis Vuitton Fashion Photography

I collect LV books, so naturally this one was a must have and it does not disappoint.The book is beautifully made and the metallic foils between sections add a really nice touch.The book is divided into four sections; each one begins with an essay written by curator Charlotte Cotton, first introducing the history of modern fashion photography and then moves on to discuss the evolving image of LV campaigns.Each of these sections is accompanied with a large selection of editorial campaigns by top fashion photographers. The campaigns are presented in a chronological order from 2014 to very early ones dating back to the 1950s.The production quality is spectacular and all photos are large, vibrant, and crisp clear. All photos have captions with dates, photographer name, and the magazines they first appeared in.There are no image duplications from previous LV books except for two or three photos, the rest of the book is completely new.This attractive tome is highly recommended to LV collectors and all those with passion to beautiful fashion photography.

I was taken aback by the Pornography in the book. I understand art for art sake, compromising positions, nudes etc. But the suggestion (? [it's blatant]) that a female model is pictured accepting semen into her mouth is absolutely vulgar, not art. Here I wanted a coffee table book and it sits in a closet so no one can see it. Why is there no cautionary footnote in regards to this book? From the description you would think it was just clothing, or the history of Mr. Vuitton, but it is not.Is it too late to return? Or does it sit in the closet for all eternity? Or do I need to rip page 210 out thus making the value of the book the same as garbage? Please assist.

When I received the book it was damaged, so either the book was transported in a bad way or the book was damaged before...

Ap inves de receber esse livro, recebi um do pequeno príncipe. Estornaram o dinheiro, me deram o livro p doação, mas o da Louis Vitton acabou e fiquei sem. :(

Un libro genial, la selección de fotos de las campañas es fantástica, muy recomendable para regalo o para propia colección. Si te gusta el mundo de Louis Vuiton tienes que comprarlo. Puedes apreciar desde las primeras campañas hasta las más modernas.

Livro muito bom com fotografias dos melhores fotógrafos de moda do mundo, publicadas em várias revistas pelo globo. Super indico.

Most of the photos are reproduced to a high standard on lovely paper, but its the content that lets the book down; There are far too many pictures from the last 10 to 15 years, and right at the end of the book where some vintage shots from the '60s and '70s appear, they are not well presented by being printed on a type of cartridge paper. such a shame really, as the old photos are much better than the newer ones. The book cost less than a tenner, so I mustn't grumble too much...
