I would give this product 5 stars if the attachments were built a little bit better. They are plastic and do not click into place so when trying to put a little pressure on the surface you are cleaning, the attachments can twist a little and you can't get your hand too close to twist it back into place. Also, the compartment that holds the water has a small probe that can move around with the water so that if you use the steamer upside down to try and get things clean that are above eye level, and the container isn't completely full of water, the probe will move with the water and the steam will not stop producing, but anytime I hold the steamer above my head, say to clean tall windows or clean inside the microwave, the steam stops producing and I have to bring it back down to a position where the steam will produce again. I am not sure if it being handheld is sufficient without a hose because you can't really position the base in a way that lets you clean at different angles. I'm not sure if I'm making sense but yeah I love it for my wood floors and I deep cleaned my washer with it. It's great to get dirt and dust out of really tight spaces, but you always have to wipe down after so really ask yourself if you are trying to make cleaner easier this will do it because it's less product and energy to put into cleaning something, but it takes longer to clean anything because you have to fidget with the steamer water, and attachments, and change the pads and cloths you are cleaning with constantly because they get dirty so fast. I found myself just washing the cloth covers to the attachments with hand and dish soap each time it got too dirty and wrung it out and put it back on the steamer to continue the job. all in all It works great, gives off very hot steam, and is easy to use. I hope it lasts a very long time because it has made cleaning the floors a lot easier not having to use a mop. I'm going to try it on my upholstery next. It makes a bit of noise, not too loud, cord length is not long enough. I have to use an extension chord which I'm not sure I should be doing lol. But it is great value for money, works great, easy to use, and noise level is low.
