Coldest winter in my lifetime-you NEED these - hands warm and dry during shoveling and skiers should fair well with these Carhartt gloves-I bought them after my last venture out shoveling ...when hands were wet and freezing after damaging my leather and cashmere gloves that I had to wear as all other gloves too thin...- great purchase and quick delivery-awesome brand and awesome gloves all the way around.

Nice, thick quality gloves. I think they run a bit smaller. Mine are fine but if you like a looser fit size up.

I needed a pair of gloves that could keep my hands warm biking in cold 20 degree weather. These do the trick! I'm a woman with normal, maybe slightly smaller than average hands and the medium fits me well. These are not gloves that you can be dexterous in; I use these solely for biking and walking outside in cold temperatures but I have to take them out to open my jacket zipper or use my phone, for example. I still give them 5 stars because I believe for them to be truly windproof and weatherproof, they should be as thick and oven-mit like as they are! They make me feel so safe and cozy.

I got these for a week in Maine when it was going to be below freezing most days and we planned lots of walks through small towns and woods, all about 1 mile long. my hands are wide and my fingers distorted from osteoarthritis hence my fingertips get cold quick, but adding hot hands charcoal warming things fixed that. The same finger distortion means that the fingers of non custom gloves do not fit correctly, but the size large was the right width anyway. The wrists are the big thing. I wish that they stretched out allot more - hard to get arthritic hands through a tight opening. That is why I decucted a star - there is elastic there, which means it can be stretchier than it is and still be tight on the wrist with the velcro strap.

This was a good buy. They fit well and keep the hands toasty.

Similar to a pair made by Thinsulate that I wore to tatters (but couldn’t find replacement), these are very warm and comfy. One feature I’m particularly happy with is the lining is slightly shorter than the exterior of fingers, creating little warm air pockets for fingertips. Makes one less dexterous, but if the only goal is staying warm, it’s any easy trade off.

Really nice gloves. Not 100% water proof but good enough for most outdoor winter activities. Very warm. Only complaint is that they run so small! I ordered the largest size and i don’t have huge hands but these are very snug. If you’re removing them when your hands are damp or sweaty, they are never going back on, just fyi.

I love these! They are not too thick or thin. I drive easily with them on. They have good grip. They have held up for a few weeks now and going strong. They are a good price point. The fit is good...the functionaality is great. Super comfortable. I'm 5'3 and ordered a large, fits great!!!

Echt leuk. Bij een temperatuur van -11 graden Celsius heb ik het nooit koud gehad. Ook goed voor de luchtvochtigheid.

Estos guantes los use yo a temperaturas de hasta -18C, y también cuando estaba esquiando, para esquiar no tuve problema, excelente agarre y mantenían mis manos calientes, pero hubo un día que la temperatura bajo a -18 y ya no fue suficiente calor, tuve que ponerme unos guantes delgados abajo para poder aguantar el frío. Los otros días que use solo estos guantes la temperatura máxima fue de -10, y sin problema. Pedí la talla mediana, mis manos son delgadas y me quedaron perfecto.

first i wish they came in more colours... winter is blah enough without black. they do run small but the xlarge fits well enough when normally I'd be a large at best. i don't like that the insides almost invert when taking them off - it's a lot of wiggling to put them back on - especially the pinkie! they're very flexible but because, i think, the out is so much larger then the in i can function about as well as i could with mitts... which isn't much! bottom line tho, they're still 5 star in my book because they're the first gloves (or mitts!) that have kept my hands warm in 10 years!! actually warm!! and if you do pull one off and have to wrestle it back on, it warms that cold hand!! amazing.
