WORTH IT!
How would you like to only pay $.96 for a pack of cigarettes? This is where it's at! I know it's expensive. $200 at once for a machine to make some cigarettes? Ouch. I came on Amazon today to buy my 2nd replacement machine. Mine broke and I didn't get the 3/4 year replacement plan. Why would I spend ANOTHER $200? Because mine made 64k (and change) cigarettes (the first one made nearly 180k! before I dropped it on accident)! That's right nearly a quarter of a million cigarettes from 2 machines! That $.96 a pack INCLUDES the cost of the machine!! Now, I took my broken one apart and found the problem. I could fix it and keep going, but...why? Truth is I probably will but then keep it in reserve for the day the new one breaks. The week long wait for the new machine SUCKS, lol.Tips: Get your pipe tobacco and tubes at WindyCityCigar.com. Even more, set up a subscription for a discount. I buy the OHM Menthol 16oz. Costs me $11.66 a bag. 1 bag = 400 - 600 cig depending on humidity, reg v 100's, tobacco cut, etc. I buy ZEN menthol 100's tubes, I just can't find anything I like better. Cost $4.20 a box of 200. Yep I provided the numbers, you can literally do the math. My stated $.96 a pack is if I'm getting the worst yield/bag possible, which is ultra rare nowadays.Adv. Tip: get widemouth pint jars, a vacuum pump for the jars, and a coffee mug storage box. The jar will hold 60 cigarettes perfectly. Vacuum the air out of the jar. Store in storage box in a cool dry place. Your cigarettes will now last virtually forever! Even the menthol won't fade. I have some stored that are 4 years old (I made 3 cases of 12 jars (108 packs)), I test a jar every 6 months. Still as fresh a day 1, not an ounce of staleness to them as of yet. I have extra boxes and jars as well. The reason I've made so many is because I supply anywhere from 4-7 family members cigarettes too. I swap an empty case for a full case as needed. They give me $2-$3 a pack for the labor. I DO NOT sell to anyone... that would be illegal! 😐😐😐 You shouldn't either! Big tax trouble if you do something like that... 😐😐😐.I know I probably sounded like a commercial there but the machine is literally of the quality it can't be helped. It's durable, and will be even more so if you maintain the machine and load properly. After EVERY session of cigarette making or 400 cigarettes if in a long session, CLEAN the machine with the brushes it comes with! Never skimp on this. The moment you get some kind of buildup your machine WILL start having issues leading to breaking if it goes on too long. It only takes 90 seconds. Empty the hopper, use a can of air to blow it clean. Clean the tube and the hopper with the brushes, blow clean again. Let your tobacco dry a bit. The machine is sturdy as hell, but if you use tobacco fresh out of the bag immediately... you can hear the strain in the machine. It will work, but you'll get considerably more jams. It will also cause 2 other issues. It will overpack the cigarette to the point you'll suck your teeth crooked for every drag. It will also reduce yield/bag. If you are only getting 400-425 cigarettes(100's)/16oz bag this is probably why. Get a cookie sheet, and dump the bag on it and let it air out for 30-45 min before starting. Now don't forget either or the opposite issue will happen. If the tobacco is left for too long (usually 2+ hours) it will get too dry. It'll get crumbly and you'll get cherries falling off mid smoke.and cigs too lightly stuffed to be viable. Another problem you'll see if you use overly dry tobacco too often is interior buildup. That dry stuff turns to dust which gets into the machine. Get enough in there and it WILL build up enough to cause issues, usually every 10-20k. The rubber bit that holds the cig tube to the machine will eventually wear out ~80-90k cigarettes, just pop it off and flip it upside down and you're good to go.Lastly: My advice... don't let anyone else use it. I always have my biggest and most frequent issues after someone else makes themselves a few. They don't take my cleaning or using properly dry tobacco usage seriously. Other people don't care that YOU spent money on this machine. To the makers: How about another step up? A hopper 10x+ bigger and automate the tubes. I would pay serious money for something like that!

Best one I've used
I have been rolling my own for about 10 years. I have used Powermatic II and Poweroller. Both worked OK and lasted 2=3 years each. With two smokers, I roll a lot of cigarettes. My problem with them is you have to develop a skill in determining how much tobacco to push into the injector, and it depends on the cut and moisture of the tobacco. Too much and the machine jams, too little and you lose your coal, resulting in holes in your clothes, burns, and not to mention the fire hazard. The Powermatic III+ automatically determines how much tobacco to inject, I have rolled 40 packs so far and the machine hasn't jammed once, no wasted cigarettes, and I haven't lost my coal even once. There is one downside. If the tobacco you're using is very fresh and moist and long cut (I say it looks like a bird nest) then the tobacco won't fall into the injector. The solution mentioned in the instructions says to freeze the tobacco and cut through it with a scissors. I just dumped the bag in a large bowl and crumbled it with my hands, pulling the "bird nest" apart. This actually isn't all that hard to do, and grabbing more tobacco out of the bowl is easier than reaching in the bag. The hopper holds a lot of tobacco, so you don't need to refill it as often. It's as fast or faster than the other machines I've used because once you condition your tobacco, you don't have to carefully push the tobacco down into the injector. Making sure you put just exactly the right amount of tobacco down makes other machines difficult and lengthy time to use. The real main point here is I have all perfectly rolled cigarettes now, and burning clothing, upholstery, and myself with dropped cherries never happens anymore. One more point, other machines I would have about 10% loss due to making faulty cigarettes with "hollow" spots either in the middle, by the filter, or the tube would only fill part way up. The Powermatic III+ has made 800 cigarettes so far, and all were perfect. A carton of factory made cigarettes costs almost $100 anymore, and I can roll a carton for about $10, so the machine pays for itself. Hope this helps.
