Three Complete Novels: The Love Child / the Maltese Angel / the Year of the Virgins

Catherine could write stories that grab you and keep you from wanting to put that book down. If my reviews would get one person to read her stories and enjoy them as much as I have throughout the years, my effort would be well worth I my effort, I have read nearly every book this women has written, some many times, I have not been disappointed not one time.

I love reading all Catherine Cookson's books she is one of my favorite authors.

My 94 year old mother can't put her books down of course neither can I. She's a great author & her movies are good too.

I haven't begun this one yet but I love anything by catherine cookson so I have high hopes for this.

The Maltese Angel was my favorite. I think the plot they took to punish the rapists was ingenious. The Love child got a little tiresome & I thought the plot went off the track at times but it was still interesting. Haven't finished the year of the Virgins.

This book was said to be in "very good condition". Whoever called a book with a worn cover, a dirty inside page with handwriting on it in "very good condition" has way lower standards than I do! Quite disappointed!
