So far so good
I wear this on the outside of my uniform, underneath my outer body armor carrier. My agency doesn't allow harnesses like this, so it stays concealed underneath my carrier. I tried to cut slits in the side of my uniform, but my sewing skills are non-existent, so that was out of the question. I have a small frame, so I have trouble keeping my duty belt on my hips all the time. This definitely helps.

Great Comfortable Fit For Tall Guy
Just purchased this harness and have begun wearing it on shift. I must say its very comfortable and the two point setup is great. It distributes the weight evenly and the pads on the shoulders work well and don't dig into my blades. I'm 6'4 and the XL setup for me was a great choice. I keep the snaps connected to my duty belt and simply put my duty belt on, put on the harness and connect the snaps on my belt with the harness loosely, and simply cinch it down to where it feels the weight is distributed evenly.Tip: when you connect the harness to your duty belt, grab the straps on each side and start jumping up and down. It makes it really easy to get a snug cinch between the harness and your duty gear, especially if you keep a ton of equipment on your belt.Great product and money well spent.

Complete waste of money, I could have designed this in my garage
I was looking for something to alleviate lower back pain while out on patrol. This gun belt keeps getting heavier and heavier with more tools being added to it as time goes by. I'm not interested in having a pension and serious back problems later in life. I assumed Blackhawk was a solid law enforcement equipment manufacturer. I was wrong. For some reason outside of Blauer, most of these companies sell $15 products for $75-100 premiums. There is nothing to these harnesses, it's a poorly made cushion on both sides that rests on your shoulders and the clips are made out of cheap plastic. The clips length cannot be adjusted based on what product is shipped to you, you have to buy separate suspenders to increase the length to install it yourself.American made products should be the standard but often they are band-aid recipes with quality and longevity not factored into the final product. Don't buy this product. You'd be better off making a home made rig yourself in your garage.

company doesn't respond to emails for support
I have tried contacting the company several times since I lost one of my duty belt clips that hold the suspenders to the harness. Never have gotten any response on buying a new clip for it. Harness is useless without the clip. Will buy from another company from now on.

A Must-Have
I'm very satisfied with this harness. The only reason I'm giving it four stars is because I took it to a seamstress to reinforce the stitching just in case. I read it in an earlier review, so I had it strengthened. I also had to have slits cut into my uniform shirts so it can be attached to the belt. It's really not a big deal to have these things done, and I've been happy with the results! After using it for 2-3 years, I can't imagine going a shift without it. When I unsnap the keepers, I feel the weight of the belt crashing down on my hips! It really does make a difference and I no longer have lower back pain. I really like this product.

Poorly made
They broke after 4 hours on shift. Mostly driving during that 4 hours. Great idea; however, very poorly made.
