The Desert Crop: A Novel

Buyer beware! I expected a set of 10 books when I ordered this, but only received one. Very deceiving listing. As much as I enjoy Catherine Cookson books, I will not purchase from this seller again.

Although; I received the book on time and it was as advertised, I believed that I would be receiving a ten book set. Evidently, I misunderstood the advertisement.I did enjoy the book very much.

This is a advertised as a 10 book set. I see im not the only one who received only 1 book.

There is nothing like a Catherine Cookson novel. I can never read enough of them. The Desert Crop was another one of her masterpieces. The woman really new how to tell a story. I loved this fantastic Novel.

Catherine Cookson is a wonderful writer.

I can't stress how much I love this author and how I was so disappointed when she left this world. I want to go on reading her books for the rest of my life; her books have brought me so much enjoyment.

Sorry, but I have only received one book out of this set. Will I ever receive the others?

I didn't dislike one single thing about this book, in fact I enjoyed it so much I was going to bed extra early as that is where I do my reading! Just like the Catherine Cookson we know and love and miss so much. I was always a great fan of hers and when I found a couple on here which I hadn't read ie 'My Beloved Son' and particularly this one, I just had to have them, and I was not disappointed.

Loved this book and read it very quickly. The ending was so lovely that after all the build up, I just had to go back and read it again.

I enjoyed reading this book. A sad story with a happy ending. I know that the story is fiction but people can be so cruel to members of their family.

Not in a fit condition but very kindly sending replacement. Very happy with their efficiency. Happy
