IMS112242BK1 Black Large Fuel Tank - 3.2 Gallon Capacity

Great tank at a good price - had to stretch/stress the side plastics a bit to fit but so far no problems. Also bought an aftermarket radiator cap with temp gauge - the oversize tank hangs over the radiator cap so it must be unbolted in the front and lifted up to remove the aftermarket cap.

Tank has propped fitment on my 13 crf450x. However doesn’t snug up to radiator shrouds quite like stock tank. Also wasn’t I’m pressed with the exterior finish on tank. Outside of tank is rough and scratched up. All together though you can’t beat the price for nearly twice the original capacity of fuel it can contain.

I love this tank, I put into my 2005 Honda crf450x and it fit perfect. The peacock was not 90 degrees off and I did not cut my plastics. Looks stock.

I have a CRF450X and the tank fits the bike, but not well. The petcock bolt holes are twisted at a bad angle making it very difficult to twist the hoses enough to get it to fit. The tank is very wide and the plastics do not fit well. I had to cut the right side fairing to get it to fit into the molded area and had to bend and twist all the plastics to even get them to fit ("fit" term used lightly). I still like the tank, but a little more R&D would have made it a great product. It is very difficult to fit it on the bike, but it looks nice once it is fit - though it makes the front end very wide. I received the tank today and I have not had a chance to ride with the added capacity.

If you going to buy a big tank for your Honda CRF 450x this is it!Easy install using basic tools and old petcock.Would have gave5 stars but I had to trim my side plastics to fit.A fantasticsolid mold product at a great price!

Good fit on a 2012 CRF450x. Had to tweak the radiator shrouds some, but no big deal. Really to go from 1.9 to 3.2 gal this is a great tank because it’s not that noticeable from stock. Overall, nice fit and a quality tank.

Expanded the capacity of my OEM tank. Solid construction fit right in on my '05-'06 Honda CRF 450x. I would buy again.

- The bolts holes on the front steel bracket that bolts on the tank and on to the bike frame were a little misaligned on the tank side.- The angle of the petcock attachment is like 90° different from the stock tank so hoses are twisted (Why ?)- No issues with the shrouds for me.- I choosed the black color to retain the stock look of the bike but the advantage of the natural color is that you can see your fuel level thru the plastic.-Over all a great tank that will extend my range to 160 km ++ instead of 100.
