HOTP Support: Hash-based One-Time Password (HOTP) is an event-based, combination of secret key and counterbased one-time password to protect two-factor authentication (2FA) of web services that do not support WebAuthn. In addition, HOTP can be applied even in situations where users do not connect to the internet, such as offline application scenarios.
TOTP Support: Time-based One-Time Password (TOTP) is an abbreviation of time-based one-time password, a general form of two-factor authentication (2FA). A unique number password is generated with a standardized algorithm that uses the current time as an input.
PIV Support: Personal ID Verification (PIV) allows the iShield Key Pro to safely store your digital certificates and secret keys and store your specific personal credentials to store security keys for identification, authentication, and registration devices using the PKCS#11 encryption standard. PIV allows you to use the iShield Key Pro to Windows log on (via local account or via Microsoft Active Directory) even if BitLocker drive encryption is also enabled.
