Doctors Best Ubiquinol, Reduced-Form Coenzyme Q1, Non-GMO, Gluten Free, Soy Free 120 Softgels

This seems like a very good brand of Ubiquinol, otherwise known as CoQ10. It's at a good price point too. I'm taking it because I have read MANY health articles saying it supports your heart so I plan to use it long term. (Ideally I would buy Nordic brand, as I think that's even better, but it's more expensive and I think this will do the job about as well.)

This product does exactly what I want but I ran out of my supply and amazon sent the wrong product. I wish I had purchased elsewhere.

Coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) is a fat-soluble nutrient produced naturally by our bodies. Found in every cell in the body, CoQ10 is concentrated in organs that require the most energy — such as the heart, liver, muscles and kidneys. CoQ10 is concentrated in these organs because it is essential to the process of producing cellular energy. You can convert either form of CoQ10 to the other as needed. Ubiquinone is the oxidized form of CoQ10, and Ubiquinol is the reduced form. Our bodies can readily convert one form to the other until about the age of 40. So prior to this age, either form should work equally well. After the age of 40, the Ubiquinol form works better and is more easily absorbed.This particular CoQ10 supplement uses Kaneka QH which has been noted as a quality source. Since my mother gets 2 of these each day and I take one, this is the most economical, high quality source that I have found so far.

I take one every day and think this is a good brand! High quality.

This item comes in regularly with Subscribe and Save. Just realized that the quantity sent w/the latest order was for only 100 mg tablets instead of 200 mg tablets but we were charged for 200 mg tablets, a pretty significant difference, especially when we have to take 2 of the smaller dose to equal what works with the 200 mg dose. What recourse do we have?

I purchased these for my husband, but I take them too. My husband is on Lipitor and I read that it depletes your body of COQ10 and this is the most powerful form. He started with the 100 mg but now akes the 200 mg.My husband was taking a nap almost every day and I know it was caused by the Lipotor because he ran out of it a few times and within a few days he would stop taking naps. Now that he takes this suppliments his naps have been reduced by 80% and I'm very happy. I think it must give him more energy. I will keep him on it and have told all my family members who are on Lipitor to take it too.

I tend to trust Doctor's Best products. I need to take more COQ10 than normal because medication I'm taking is wiping out my reserves. But the price of this product has become outrageous...I take two pills per day...comes out to a lot of money and each time I replace a bottle, the price is even higher than before.
