My child, who is normally very intuitive in all things math was having challenges in his school 's AP Calc class (even failed a test!) . Picked up this book to supplement his classroom education and fill in the blanks. He earned a 5 on the AP exam!

The book covers topics like differential and integral calculus well. It sometimes gets a bit tedious because of the way it’s explained in the book, but it’s amazing in terms of practice problems and self-studying.

This prep book was a life savior for the AP. It had a good amount of practice tests and the explanations always helped me. This book really helps for students with teachers who don’t always teach or explain things properly.

It provided a lot of content but I feel as though it was inconsistent with what was provided in the actual AP exam. It felt more like random practice exams as it did not mimic the exam format or provide a grading scale.

Overall this book has helped me in class, don’t wait until the AP exam is right around the corner to pick it up. It’s got really good descriptions and elaborates on topics really well!

Although they did have a good amount of information in the middle. The practice tests were not good. They would sometimes not provide enough information to understand problems. But the nongraphing section of frqs includes problems that can’t be solved without a calculator. And they didn’t include a grading scale of how much each problem was worth which would’ve been appreciated.

This book helped my son to achieve a 5 on both the A-B and A-C AP exams.
