Works well, get the nickel finish to hide water spots and other bathroom debris.
Had one for a dozen years and recently bought a second one for a guest bathroom.

Replaced an old model
For $150 this is overpriced. While the towel warmer certainly dries the towels, the quality of the unit is only fair. We are using this as a standing unit, and it is okay but wobbles somewhat. I will not return it but am disappointed with my purchase.

Works as advertised
I purchased this model since it had the smallest overall footprint and for the dual option of having it be free-standing or wall-mounted. We've been using it free-standing for the past few weeks and are pretty happy with it. Having dry, warm towels in the morning is great! We hang our two showel towels on it, using the lower bars and then put a third towel on the top bar to cover the other two and keep the heat in. The towels aren't uniformly warm, but definitely drier than our older method (hanging them on a hook). The satin nickel finish works nicely in our bathroom (no shiny chrome). In free-standing mode, the rack moves slightly front-to-back. It's in no danger of tipping over or anything but it was disconcerting at first since I thought I hadn't installed the feet correctly or tight enough. This movement does make it easier to tilt the rack forward slightly away from the wall when hanging towels on it. And be careful: the metal gets pretty hot to the touch.I had one small problem occur just last week: one of the plastic hold covers on the side (where the horizontal rails connect to the vertical ones) just popped out. I found it on the floor under the rack and it wouldn't snap back into place. It was almost as if the heat of the rack warped it slightly. I've sent an e-mail to customer support to see if I can get a replacement part sent to me.

Don't count on quality
It's sad to see the formerly impressive Warmrails product line fall into uncaring neglect by its current owner. In 2005 we purchased the previous incarnation of this RTS floor-standing towel warmer. It was well-made and served perfectly until it recently became broken in an accident. The replacement we just received is a mess and our experience, unfortunately, echoes that of the many other dissatisfied purchasers who have been posting here. It seems that the company just doesn't care and does nothing to assure quality. The curved feet can attach to the frame in only one fashion but, in our case, with three feet on the ground, the fourth one was 3/4" OFF the ground which made the entire assembly unstable. As well, the frame seems to have a twist to it and the rungs are not parallel to the ground. When we called to alert the company after receiving this inferior product, the only option offered was to leave a message - and no one from the company called back.Using a stack of self-adhesive furniture bumpers under the unstable foot to keep the rack from rocking, we'll probably keep the rack (as we need such a device to dry our towels and there is only a narrow space to accommodate it which limits other options). But we're not at all happy that the product line has so badly deteriorated in quality. There seemed little point to exchanging the product as it seems from these reports that this product's troubles are the rule and not the exception.UPDATE: As others have also reported, after some months one of the plastic 'buttons' on the vertical sides distorted enough due to the device's heat that it fell out; we resorted to silicone glue to hold it back in place.

Love having warm towels!
We ordered this as a replacement for a similar unit (different brand) that, after 20+ years, had sprung a leak. This one is slightly smaller and considerably lighter than its predecessor but it does the job. The illuminated on/off switch is a good feature. Easy assembly, just a couple of screws to attach the legs.

Wonderful!
I bought another of these sometime around 2007. I moved and the foot was broken off and the company shipped me another foot free of charge. That unit ran 24/7 until about 4 months ago when it went missing after another move. After a few months of damp towels, I ordered another and so far, it is as good as the first one!

For the price it's ok
Our towels never completely dried after a shower and had a damp feel and smell. Now they are dry within hours and nice and toasty when needed (we hang 2 towels on it - one on top of another, the bottom ends up hot and the top warm). The reason for 3 vs 5 stars is the poor quality. The little round button on the side popped of within a week and the felt on the legs came unglued shortly after. Nothing that impairs the operation of the rail but I still expect better quality from my purchased electronics.

Ok for the price. Legs don't fit right.
Does what it's supposed to do, ok for as inexpensive as it is. The legs are designed in such a way that you cannot tighten them enough to make them stable. Warmer leans a bit because of this, and I'm not totally comfortable with something with an always-on heating element being able to tip over unexpectedly. But, my intent was to try it on the legs until I was sure I liked it, then mount it on the wall permanently. That should clear up the problem.
