Sevenhills Wholefoods Organic Japanese Classic Matcha Tea Powder from Uji, Kyoto, Japan 100g

Let me preface by saying I am a HUGE matcha fan. I have tried so many different brands (YAMASAN KYOTO UJI, Nutri Extracts etc) and this is definitely the one for me. It is so smooth and delicious and I find it mixes really well with hot water so that barely any lumps remain. Many other brands I’ve tried do not mix so well. I usually use it to make iced matcha by mixing a heaped teaspoon with hot water (not boiling!), pouring it over ice and adding oat milk. Divine! The pouch is also huge so I can see it lasting a long time. Lovely colour as well.

I really like this! I use it in Matcha Latte, porridge, Boba tea and a few other things and it tastes great and dissolves easily. That said, I don't have it the traditional Japanese way with just water & no sugar, so I have no idea how good it would be if you wanted to do that, but for sweet things it's my favorite brand of matcha i've had tried so far, and at a good price!

Tried making a tea with 1g, far too strong, so use 1/2g and makes a refreshing drink. I added a tsp of cashew butter - delicious. Also have whisked into yoghurt for a fruit topping, also delicious. I can't say I love the flavour of Matcha Tea but I do believe it is a healthy drink

Ordered this a few days ago, and it came very quickly! This was the best one I could find within my budget that didn't have bad reviews, and I like it. It has a typical green tea/matcha taste and when you initially make it, it does smell like 'grass' as other people have said, but paired with a little honey and a splash of oat milk it tastes really good. The only criticism I have is that for 100g it is quite expensive, and the packet isn't full. It's a much more mellow green than I was expecting - has a yellow undertone, but that may be because it is a classic grade, not ceremonial. The ceremonial was just too expensive for 100g so this was the next best thing. It's still a good product and I will enjoy drinking it. FYI it doesn't have a funky smell either!

First time buying from this supplier and I am not impressed with the quality of the product, the colour was more yellow than green, the taste was a little weak.I think next time I would rather pay a bit extra for a better quality

C'est la deuxième fois que je l'achète et je suis ravi et devenu abonné. J'aime le goût et la qualité par rapport à d'autres marques. Très bon rapport qualité prix. Je recommande.

Gut verarbeitet. Der Geschmack könnte etwas kräftiger sein aber ich bin zufrieden.
