Amazing Drone! Fantastic Support!
Potensic Atom drone is very well built with high quality materials of the drone, remote and the bag. It has a really cool dock charger and you can charge 3 batteries and the remote at the same time! The 64GB SD card already installed in the drone was a really good surprise. The drone is very light (less than 250g) so you don't need a Flyer ID, but I would recommend passing the Flyer ID test anyway. It is free and valid for 5 years. You'll need an Operator ID that costs £10.33 and is valid for one year. I like the style of the remote control. It is unique and works quite well even with large phones. Flying the drone is really easy as it is very stable and holds position very well due to OPTI visual positioning and GPS. It is very responsive to the controls and easy to maneuver. Video quality is a LOT better than I expected! Attached images are screenshots from the unedited video from the drone. Another good thing is that the drone does not have Virtual fencing and Remote ID, so be a good and responsible person when you fly it! 🙂 Unfortunately, the camera of my drone developed an issue and started fogging up after a few flights, but the fantastic Potensic support team were very kind and helpful and resolved the issue very promptly by sending me a replacement drone in a couple of days. The replacement drone even came up a day earlier than expected! I’m really happy that I chose this drone over a more expensive one from DJI!

Potensic Atom
Brilliant little drone that has exceeded my expectations. When I first opened the box I thought how small the drone was. Not expecting much, I got it up and running and was really surprised at the stability and picture quality. It really is so easy to fly and the added bonus is if you get into trouble you just tell it to return home by itself. I think the instructions could do with better explanations. The tutorial videos are good but don't fully explain what the different settings do. Trial and error will probably resolve this in time. Aside from that, there is nothing to dislike. I did have an issue with headless mode. (Look it up if, like me, you had no idea what it is) The tutorial video mentioned it but I couldn't find a setting in the app. After contacting Potensic support, who i have to say are excellent, they said that due to patent infringment they could no longer support this function. They apologised profusely and sent me a spare set of blades for my inconvenience. They seem to be a company who really want to stand out in terms of customer service and they really wanted to know where this mode was mentioned in the video so that the information could be corrected. There's too much to mention about the drone's capabilities. Look at the online reviews. I found them to be very useful in terms of finding out what the drone can do. Summing up. I don't have any other drones so don't know how this one compares. What I can say is that it totally impressed me with it's flight stability, camera quality and battery life. I got the fly more set with 3 batteries which, personally, I think is worth it. Time will tell if I use it enough though. You feel comfortable flying it even after a few flights. If you go the wrong way, just take your hands off the controls and it will sit there rock solid until you regain your composure. Also rest assured that if you do encounter a problem or have a question, Potensic customer service will be there to support you. I think this is worthy of mention. My advice would be if having watched the various videos online, you think this is the right drone for you then go for it. You won't be disappointed.

Cannot fault
I'm a starter pilot, but after intense research, decided to plunge on this drone. I was nervous at first and found an open field to try it out. It is really good. The wind balance is incredible and the camera quality superb. Ease of use is relatively good and the flight remote is forgiving, let go of everything and the drone hovers. I'm still getting used to the vast array of functions, follow me, fly past, boomerang etc, but I really can't fault this for the price. It's genuinely a great piece of kit and worth twice the price. If you're umming and arring over a drone that can do more than a basic one, this is perfect. The direct comparison would be the dji Mavic air 2 and that's double the cost of this. The extra flight pack triples battery life and the adaptive charger distributes equal charge for all 3 batteries. Can't comment on customer support as I've not needed it!

Great Customer Service
Lost my DJI spark a few years ago with a fly off and dji did not want to know so opted for Potensic Atom with 3 axis gimble, emailed them before purchase as to wether my iPhone 12 Pro max fit and they replied within 12 hours as a positive , yes it did, Drone arrived today with 3 batteries, charger, 2 full packs of spare props, 3 phone leads etc etc , not flown yet due to wind but this is high quality product and fantastic customer service who I think will give dji a run in near future, also got 20 pound discount from Amazon , £349 for a 4k Sony sensor 3Axis gimbal drone with 3 batteries, what a deal, will update when flown at later date. Update, This is just great, easy set up and connction, just be patient until you get enough satelites for take off, and calibrate before just to be sure, its stable and quiet and the video quality is just excellent, I am so pleased that this drone was such great value, and I dont believe its just a beginner drone as some report, it has enough controls etc if you juts want to use it to film and take great pictures as I do and as I stated customer service is excellent, they answer your emails within a short time

This drone flies as good as my DJI mini 4 Pro
Why did I buy the DJI mini 4 Pro, this is just as good the quality is great and it has loads of features, almost as many as the mini 4, it also flies well in wind I've had both drones in gusts of 25mph and the Atom has held it's own it has a 5 wind rating. It is very easy to use and it connects direct to the phone so you don't need Wi-Fi which makes it more reliable. The video quality seems to be as good as any drone I've seen, remember for the combo it is about a 3rd of the price of the popular DJI sub 250gr drone. I've only flown it a few times but I am amazed how good it is for the money. At the moment you can get the combo with 3 batteries a charging case and a bag to carry it around in. This is probably the best drone money can buy as we write this, so grab it before it goes back up, you won't regret it. One thing I forgot to mention, some of the literature advertising this drone indicated that it did not require any registration, this is true in the US for sub 250gr drones but not in the UK or the EU. In this part of the world even if it used as a hobby it will still need to be registered with the CAA and a registration number must be able to be seen on the drone, any drone with a camera needs to be registered. Don't get caught out you could have your drone confiscated.

Impressive array of features
First of all, I'm not an expert on drones. I create plenty of videos, so for me, this is a tool to use to augment videos. I did plenty of research to find a drone at a decent price that did what I needed it to. And the criteria included 4K video, a gimbal so the footage looks smooth, lightweight, durable, and relatively easy to master. I'm often amused by reviews that are posted the day an item arrives. You really need to get to know something before writing a knee-jerk summary. After purchase, I watched several YouTube reviews on the drone, and learned far more than from the company-provided literature. I'd recommend doing the same if you buy this. These reviews led me to believe that this drone has a pretty impressive repertoire, as good as some of the Potensic's competitors. A lot of sub-menus you find on the app you are required to download to operate it are very useful, essential even. There's a lot you can do, including pre-programmed flight patterns and setting points on a map for the drone to visit, creating a route for it to follow. But I'll leave all those for the videos. Starting the drone up isn't always easy, sometimes it has a hard time connecting to the app, but once it does, it's relatively straightforward to use. It even handles stiff breezes well. I would recommend getting an app such as Drone Assist, which shows you all of the places you can't film. There are so many YouTube videos where it's clear they've ignored things like SSSIs or even the extended areas around airports. Ignorance is no excuse, especially if you're disturbing - or even potentially disturbing - wildlife. Downloading the footage is easy, too, and the resulting quality is very good. Until you get used to the joysticks for turning the drone left and right, you will get some pretty jerky footage, but once you learn how to move them slowly and smoothly, you get better footage. While the kit - especially if you sprung for the (recommended) package with extras like more batteries - is pretty much all you need, I'd definitely also recommend getting a landing pad so that the drone has something flat and level to land on. These can be purchased for less than £10. Battery life is not bad. If you got the package with three batteries, we flew the drone for much longer than an hour and still had only just touched the third battery. If you use this for several short flights, you should be fine. Plus, you can see the battery life remaining via the app. But you're not going to fly it overhead while you walk the Pennine Way without having to recharge. Oh, and recharging time is pretty reasonable too. I always do a quick top-up recharge the night before I'm going filming, just to be sure. Not a five-star review because clearly there are more expensive drones out there that can do so much more, but this drone, if you learn how to use it properly and utilise all of its many attributes, is pretty much everything you'll ever need to create superb footage effortlessly.

Impressive Drone & Truly Exceptional Support
This drone has exceeded my expectations. For the price, it offers functionality that rivals far more expensive models. It handles beautifully—even in windy conditions—and the camera and flight stability are genuinely impressive. Whether you're a beginner or looking for a reliable upgrade, this is a fantastic choice. What really sets Potensic apart, though, is their customer service. After my original controller suffered saltwater damage during a beach outing, I reached out to them for help. They immediately sent a replacement without hesitation. Unfortunately, the first replacement was delivered while I wasn’t home and was left with a neighbour—who then decided to keep it and falsely claimed someone else had collected it. I contacted Potensic again, explained the situation, and they sent a second unit promptly and without any fuss. Thanks to their support, everything is now back in working order. I’m incredibly grateful and wouldn’t hesitate to buy from them again. Highly recommended—both the drone and the company behind it.

Excellent Drone for a great price
Never owned a drone before but have wanted one for a couple of years now so shopped around before I took the plunge. Looked at the more expensive DJI MIni 4 and thought 'I'm not spending £900+ on a gadget that might end up sitting in the draw after 6 months'. Decided on the Potensic Atom Combo after reading the reviews and I'm so glad I did. Quality of the product is excellent, nothing feels cheap and with the combo pack you get 3 batteries, extra propellors, sd card and a really nice carry case. Have to say, the video and picture quality is much better than expected. The RAW images and 4K videos I've taken look stunning when played back on screen. I have a photogropher friend who's really fussy when it comes to video and picture quality and even he was impressed..........and that's saying something coming from him. I went and bought an extra battery so now have a total of 4 for more flying time. Thought the battery was a bit expensive at £60+. Also bought a 256gb sd card for more storage and a landing pad as I live on the coast and don't want to take off and land on sand. Out flying a couple of weeks ago and met someone who had a DJI mini 2. Got talking and he said he wishes he'd bought the Potensic instead of the DJI becasue it didn't shoot video in 4K. Would like to see a neck strap for the hand controller and the battery prices are a bit expensive. Also, I would prefer a controller with a built in screen instead of attaching the phone. Maybe that option will come in the future????? Keep looking at the DJI Mini 4 with it's features and apart from the controller with the built in screen, there's nothing to encourage me to ditch the Potensic and buy one...........yet. The manual says the camera has a 2x and 3x zoom but so far I haven't found the option for 3x zoom. Have emailed support so will see how quick they respond. Overall though, more than happy with the drone.
