Fitment Issues
Pros:AdjustableHelps Arrow FlightInexpensiveCons:Inside of Barrel is Ridged- Fitment IssueWhat I received in the package:1 x NIKA ARCHERY Cushion Plunger Screw On Arrow Rest2 x Wrenches1 x Allen Wrench1 x Spare Spring1 x Spare PlungerThis NIKA ARCHERY Cushion Plunger Screw On Arrow Rest product I had issues with a couple of things right out of the gate. The inside of the barrel is not smooth because there are ridges inside. So you can hear the spring catch on these ridges. The spring tension was a little stiff for my likingRight out of the package I had some minor complaints about this product as note above. These are fixable with a little modification. First, I got some fine sandpaper and used the allen wrench that comes with the plunger and sanded down the inside of the barrel. It took me the better part of 15 minutes to get it smooth enough for the spring to plunge without catching on anything. You want a nice smooth plunger mechanism or what is the point of having one installed.Second, is the spring tension. The product comes with two springs and both were a little stiff for my liking. So I used some wire cutters and needle nose to cut off a couple coils and stretch the spring slightly to give it a little less tension on the plunger button. All that being said, this is a decent plunger. It is adjustable and once modifications are made … it works fine. I also noted that the threading on the outside of the plunger did not match my bow hole exactly which made it difficult to thread on. While it did thread on .. it was not the best fit fitment wise. What this plunger did have going for it was that it does have windage adjustment from 0 - 9. Each adjustment has an audible click and so you can make your adjustments without looking. There were no instructions that came with the plunger so if you are a novice it will be difficult for you to determine the depth you will need to seat your plunger. I recommend reviewing as many online tutorials as you can. The plunger functionality is a semi-mystery for a lot of people and there are not a lot of very helpful and informative videos out there to explain exactly what you need to do to install it correctly. But there are a few. Do your homework if you are a novice to archery. This can be frustrating to the beginner.I was unable to locate any warranty either in the product information or item description.I appreciate you taking the time to read this. I received this product in exchange for an honest review. All in all, this is a decent plunger at a decent price. But because of all the issues I had with this the internal components and fitment … I cannot recommend it. I would spend my money on a different product. Hope this information was helpful. Adjustable Screw In Recurve Bow Arrow Rest Plunger Button with 5/16ths inch x 24 thread pitch
I wanted to add a screw in arrow plunger rest to my 40lb. recurve bow. NIKA Archery specializes in archery products so I thought I would give this a try. Naturally, this has threads that did not fit my bow pretapped hole which was 7.5mm x? , smaller by a little but not useable as is. BE SURE that the bow has 5/16ths x 24 threads or be prepared to retap the threads. That is precisely what I did since I had the right steel 5/16ths"x24 thread tap. No need to drill since the diameter is very close. I used a few drops of the great EVO DYNE Cutting Fluid and carefully did the hole retap/threading. Presto, now an exact fit with no looseness. The plunger rest is quite adjustable with numbered click stops and the needed Allen wrench to limit travel by tightening the collars (nut and adjustment ring). The spring is quite stiff. I'm no expert, just a beginner but I will need a whisker rest too.I Recommend this NIKA ARCHERY Cushion Plunger Screw On Arrow Rest for Recurve Bow Accessories. Make sure of your threading or be prepared to retap the threads.I hope you’ve found the information and my review helpful.

Tremendous help
I just recently started shooting recurve bows and find that they are a little harder to gain consistency with than a compound bow, but this plunger does help. It is affordable and easy to set up.
