Dremel 430 1/4 Inch Drum Sanding Mandrel

It works great. No problems with it so far.

Long lasting sand paper and a strong fit on the drum... Relative to the knockoffs.

The sander works very well.You tighten the grip using a screw in the end of the shaft .It holds the drums tightly.Dremel has come out with a plastic drum that you push to tighten. I bought one, returned it bought another and then returned it. The drums would fly off of the plastic drum after you push them to tighten them.Use the one with the screw at her end of the shaft for good results!

My fault about ordering wrong size. Able to use it on correct mandrel. Works as expected.

After reading reviews of other products, I stuck with Dremel because I want the kind of quality I can always depend on from their products. I have used the bit and am am not disappointed, so I’ll be purchasing additional Dremel rounds in other grits for this bit because of that.

Need tdo be careful or your carving will be damaged by the rapidity of wood b eing removed. With caution this is a wonderful device for small bird carving.

I used this to polish steel sculptures I make. I have a knock-off brand of dremel device, which works quite well. But, the knock-off attachments, especially the sanding wheels, are garbage. After destroying the knock-off drums in a matter of minutes (but the drum and the mandrel), I got some official Dremel products. Night and day. The Dremel drums are much more resilient, last longer, and work better. Small price difference absolutely pays for itself.

I’ve been using the 1/2” bands for a few years now to trim my dog’s nails. I tried this 1/4” and found that it works a lot better for precision angling. For a big dog it probably wouldn’t matter, but for my 30 pound squirmy guy, it’s making the job easier.

Great product which works so much better than replaceable sanding heads which keep slipping off the mandrel and is therefore more efficient and less frustrating, but the dogs still don’t like it on their nails

趣味で木工細工をやってますが荒削りで使います。大きな部分は４０７、細かい部分には４３０（４３１）を使います。材料は黒檀を多用しますが、木目が好きで栂もよく使います。どちらもとても硬い材なのに＃６０だとガリガリ削れて荒削りには十分耐えられる程。以前はプロクソンを使ってましたがここまで削れず仕方なく手で荒削りしてました。ＤＲＥＭＥＬ４０００を購入してからはこれを使うようになり荒削りの工程が大変楽になりました。ちなみにＭＩＣＲＯも使ってますが小さな細工だとやはり＃６０で気持ち良く削れます。木工細工には手放せません。

値段が違うので比較対象にはなりませんが、純正品とは耐久度が段違いになります。（特に高負荷作業時）低負荷作業ではなんら問題はないと思います。何と言ってもコストパフォーマンスは高いです。
