Overall a great product! For beginners, i would recommend splurging the extra cash and getting something better, made of brass, that will allow for best tone quality and ease of playing. I have been playing for about 10 years, many of which with the army national guard band. As my contract comes to an end I am realizing that I will have to turn in any professional grade instruments that are assigned to me and this trombone has proven to be a fantastic practice tool to maintain my chops! The only issue I have felt is that the F trigger rotary valve is a bit slow to react (or more like it gives some resistance when activated). The slide has some noise to it (being plastic on plastic) but it is as effortless as a well oiled brass trombone. The tone will be greatly improved by a metal mouthpiece. And the last recommendation I have is, if you are to purchase this trombone, I would not play it along side other brass instruments in an ensemble. The tone of this instrument is good but, due to the material it is made out of it will stand out when played side by side with the real thing. All in all, very happy with the quality for the price.

First things first, before we start on the product Kaiser is amazing. When I purchased My P bone It never came so I contacted Kaiser and they immediately responded back and sent me another plastic trombone.For the Trombone, I've been playing trombone for about 7 years now and this is very useful if you cant hall your personal trombone from home to school and back home to practice. You will need to clean the trombone and lube up the f attachment in order for it to not feel like it is scratching against the plastic. Wet a towel, and then sand down the inner slide and for the outer slide put it under a faucet and let the water go through and open up the spot valve to get all that black liquid out. For the experience, it is good but only if you get a metal mouthpiece with it. There is a brass leadpiple inside that lets it resonate without any downsides for it being plastic all though not as pure as on a brass trombone like my Yamaha Xeno it is very worth while. I wouldn't buy this if you are trying out trombone just becuase it can actually ruin the experience but if you already have been playing trombone for a bit like 1-2 then I would recommend this for practicing more often. Sometimes the F trigger sticks and you constantly have to oil it. The slide doesn't have the brass at the end on in inner slide like a p bone. You have to find a bass trombone case for it, the gig bag isn't protective. The foam it's packed in would be a good project to build a case. Mouthpiece is ok, but a good 6 1/2 bach works well or a 2 Bach. You will have black liquid coming out of the spit valve from the carbon fiber.

Added note on 7/19/20Now that a few months later and maybe played 20 times, rotary is frozen shot - stuck on open position and the only way i can move this rotor is to grab a center of it with my fingers and forcefully twist it back and force. Truly horrible quality piece of "you may choose your word", I probably would never buy this thing to a yougstars who's trying trombone for a first time.My original review below.One can not expect too much from under 200 dollars plastic trombone. Besides that, it is probably not a single worst trombone out in the market. It probably is helpful if you are playing out in winter with 25 degree weather especially using plastic mouthpiece which comes with the package. Btw, that mouthpiece is aweful don't ever use that.I might change my rating if l ever found ways to make it better, until then, the thing right outta box is 3 stars, tops.
