Taste of Nepal (Hippocrene Cookbook Library (Paperback)) Paperback – Illustrated, 18 April 2013

I bought this book as a Christmas present for a friend after an amazing Nepalese meal in Bath, UK, so she could recreate some of the dishes we loved at home. The author has brilliantly captured the flavours that made our experience so memorable, and is clearly deeply connected with the culture too

Love Nepalise food,!!! We have a Nepalise restaurant local to us and find the food is far nicer than Indian !!! We have only tried a few of the recipes so far and were hoping to find some of our favourites from the restaurant but have found a lot of the names are different. Saying that the food is delicious!

Very good book, great ideas, took my culinary expertise to the next level, I love cooking too 😀.Big thumbs up.

One you have the spices mentioned it is possible to cook fantastic food for under £5. The style of the cooking in the book is a balance between subtle spices and warmth from chillies it is beautiful food when done correctly

Excellent book, I have compared recipes that I have cooked with a local Nepalese restaurant and they are the same, can't get better than that

The book arrived on time and was well packed, I found the book a little disappointing, the cover was colourful but there were no pictures of the food inside. I realise that this book will not have the take-up of someone like Jamie Oliver etc, so will not be as competitively priced but I found it expensive for what it was.
