The red, 8" cast 2Cr13 stainless steel blade has been crafted into a spiraling masterpiece of design, using temperatures up to 1,030 degrees, which gives it a 48HC. The three spiraling cutting edges come down to an incredibly sharp piercing point. As with all M48 knives, the glass-fiber-reinforced nylon handle gives you a strong and secure grip. Unique
Great knife it's very unique! The only reason it gets 4 stars is two minor things. I'm not a huge fan of 2cr13 steel, and the red paint is very thin. This really is no big deal since it is designed as a display knife. Though I prefer my display knives to be as tough as they are beautifull.

My son collects knives and he LOVED this. He had nothing like this. We were shocked to find it was numbered, only 800 made.

Nice colored gimmick, but don't fall for it
This cracks me up because they're trying to say visit special order, but I have 2 of these. Purchased on Amazon and one is yellow/gold color Kala and 1 is regular silver/black color. It's the same knife but all they're doing is putting a circumference colouration on each of these knives in selling the same 1. Now I'll tell you that the typical blade which is steel is sharp, sharper, then the colored or died blades. That's your difference don't waste your money on these different color blades just get the normal carbonized steel. Actually I don't think it's carbonized. Just a regular steel played this twisted.
