Game changing gear!!!
Excellent product right here. I had the original bino-buddies system that I carried for years before these. They were a lot better than nothing, but far from what you'll get out of the lock down system. These seriously lock your binos down. I hunt in western Oregon in the coast range. Here we see everything from hiking logging roads, cruising around glassing clear cuts, and most of all, (for me at least) walking through the miserably brushy terrain tracking game. Not only do these things hold my binos completely down (reducing the amount of "F-bombs" as I snag another viney maple), it covers up the lenses, adding a bit of water resistance. These have been a huge game changer for me. I will recommend these to any hunter, in any conditions, any day. I recently purchased another set for my dads birthday, which he loves. Easy set up out of the box, and super quick and easy to adjust for body type and clothing layers. If you're tired of loose bulky gear, this is the product for you.

Overall a very effective harness
Great concept. Really helps control the bounce, although there is still some movement. Also are wonderful in terms of quickly lifting them to the eye withoutr having to bend you neck in an awkward position- very free movement from chest to eye. Like other reviewers have mentioned, it would benefit from either smaller (less thick) clips for attaching to binoculars (at least on bushnell elite series) or including plastic or galvanized rings to attach as a medium between binocs and harness clips. Also, the lower end should be wider to accomadate full coverage of lenses. And yes, the bright markings are a bit over the top and I suppose the overall presentation (at least for hunting purposes) would benefit from more subtle markings in terms of the brand lettering. Having said all that, none of these things would prevent me from purchasing this item- it really does do what it needs to do much better than others I've owned at at a much more reasonable price.

Excellent Functionality
I found this harness by seeing it in use on a hunting show. The product was not named or mentioned, but an Internet search of "show name + binocular harness" identified it.I'm extremely pleased with the harness functionality. Other harnesses (and I was able to see these on users) allow binoculars to swing quite freely when one leans over. These hold the protected binoculars to the chest, but it is very easy to use the binoculars when the need arises. And it is pretty easy to un-clip the binoculars if you wish to share them, although not quite as easy as a simple strap.I find that I now carry my binoculars on all of my longer hikes.Excellent product.

Hold on a minute here .....!
I have two pair of binoculars a Bushnell and a Nikon. If you closely at the picture of this item you will see they connected this item to the binoculars shown with a nylon tie-wrap and a split ring (not included). Neither pair of binoculars I have can be connected directly to this harness. I was envisioning a little more sophisticated connection system than a jury-rig for a fairly expensive add-on to my binoculars. That being said, I like the fit and the comfort. I'm a big guy, at 310 lbs, and this harness fits comfortably. The straps are extended all the way but that should give you an idea of whether or not it fits. Us big guys wonder about stuff like that. I'd buy it again but they should sell this with some strap/ring adapter so you can actually connect it to your binoculars. If you try to jam the snap hooks on there you are going to be sorry. Do what they did here, use tie wraps and split rings.

Great Harness for Binos
Works very well and would recommend to my friends. I don't give many 5 star ratings, so 4 here is not an insult to this produce. So far I've used this twice while turkey hunting; it keeps my Leupolds safe, secure and close to my body until I'm ready to use the binos. Good stuff!

Not ready for prime time. Many design flaws.
Unfortunately, despite high expectations (and price!), this item is not ready for "prime time".I bought the smaller size to fit 4" to 6" length binoculars. My Swarovski binos are 5.3 inches in length, 20.5 ounces, right in the sweet spot, right? Wrong. Precisely as other reviewers have noted, the top and bottom covers of the binoculars are too narrow to adequately protect my eyepieces and objectives from sand, dust, rain. They should be 1/2" wider. The front closure elastic that holds the binoculars goes over a metal hook and has the appearance that repeated use will fray or cut the elastic (I returned mine so will never find out). The stitching, particularly where the side straps meet the lower portion of the bino carrying piece, is poorly done; the hem does not match and it looks, frankly, like something I would have done myself. Some overseas made products (this one is made in China) are well done--Maxpedition gear comes to mind. This one is not well done.Donning this harness would seem to be easy--over the head, then snap the two side buckles--but it is not. Not only can the side straps twist and roll, but the back thin vertical strap also rolls and twists. It's like putting on a brassiere in the dark! (I am imagining, I have never put on a brassiere). The advertisement on the left shoulder strap front is hokey and embarrassing. Nothing subtle about it. Too much, S4. Too much. The biggest gripe for me is that the binos do not sit at the right place on my chest, as mentioned by more than one other reviewer. I'm an athletic build, 5'9" guy with no deformities of my chest and a flat abdomen (yes, I do my crunches). Although I can adjust the binos up or down (the company states the adjustment is 6", but I disagree; seems more like 3 inches up or down to me), it never gets high enough for me. I need the binoculars at the low part of my sternum, away from my backpack hip belt pockets, anything on my pants belt (e.g. knife), and away from my arm swing when I hike. I cannot adjust this harness, even in their shortest configuration, in this regard--they always sit too low (that is, on my upper abdomen). I have followed the instructions and tried every remedy: the binoculars hang too low in this harness. If someone was a casual birder, walking in the city park, perhaps they would like the binoculars on their abdomen. But, for the active hunter, hiker, and outdoorsman, they want the binos higher, chest level. Note that the adjustments are elastic and already stitched, so there is no option to replace the elastic straps with shorter ones. In fact, if one looks at the Amazon photo of this product, the two plastic D-rings are set low, right above the top flap of the bino cover; do you see them? That is the shortest position these will go. The straps are longer when the D-rings are at the top. Frankly, for anyone 6'1" or taller, these might work, with your torso length able to make up the difference and have these sit higher. Theh key word there is "might". For the rest of us, it's "bang city" on the edge of tables, steering wheel, against backpack belt, etc. Bad design to not allow higher placement of binos.I also agree with the reviewers that commented on the abysmally cheap split rings (like keychain rings) and small plastic zip ties---yes, zip ties!--to secure the binos to this device. These clumsy and rough parts get "negotiated" over the built-in neck strap loops (the hard metal or plastic loops molded onto the sides of your binos), then you secure the split rings to this harness system by plastic "mitten clips" (hikers know what I mean). Ugly, ugly system. And horrifically hard on the metal or armour-coated tubes of the binoculars as the split rings or zip ties will rub your high-end binos with every step out in the field. Lousy set up (if it was any good, every bino maker would use a split ring and zip tie system; to my knowledge, none of them do!).Returned. I suggest you pass on them too. Maybe version 2.0 will be better. Then again, I won't ever be buying again to find out.
