They are awesome. Very grippy
They are awesome. Very grippy, lightweight, and cool looking. Put them on my commuter cx bike (the only bike I ride atm) but I'd use them on anything. They're so grippy that they stick to my pants. Also I wouldn't ride an mtb with these while wearing shorts, because if you fall you might end up with some serious abrasions in the back of your calves :DMy only gripe is that the installation is strange, you have to use a socket wrench or pliers on that little nut instead of a pedal wrench. I'm a bit worried about taking them off whenever the time comes to replace them.Someone dropped some stars because they don't spin freely. And it's true, they don't spin freely, there is a bit of resistance. It doesn't bother me but if you want pedals that spin freely, buy something else.

Great pedals
I bought these pedals hoping that they would be a good alternate to another $100 to $150 pedal. So far so good, they arrived on time and installed easy. I use these for downhill mountain biking and they work great, very happy. If I had to list a negative about them I would say they are on the smaller side. They are very thin and light and have held up great so far, 2 months in. I am a larger guy weighing 207 pounds and wear a 10.5 shoe, they have showing no signs of wear and tear due to the weight or riding I do. I will definitely buy again.

Good value.
Upon receiving the pedals, I felt that the pedals were solid, and there was no rattling or play in the construction. Once I installed the pedals on my mountain bike, I took the pedals for a test run on a 7.7mi uphill climb with an elevation of 1,100ft. I certainly appreciate the feeling of security provided by the grip, and the even distribution of weight when I pedalled. In short, my feet did not experience discomfort, and I felt with each revolution a quick response of concentrated force. Of course, the responsiveness is in addition to my bikes single speed build.Despite the great, there comes a point of contention. Particularly, the bearings of the pedals. To give you a rough idea, if you held the crank and spun the pedal with your hand the pedal does not spin or even make one complete revolution. Perhaps the pedals need time to wear in, or this might be a serious problem in the long run.I will have to provide an updated review in the following months to see of the bearings do in fact become a problem. As for now, these certainly feel light, seems durable, and provides superb grip.

Cool looking pedal but poorly engineered
These pedals look really nice and feel very solid out of the box. I like how thin they are and the open design keeps snow from building up in the winter. You can feel the center section is thicker than the edges while riding but it wasn't enough to worry about.I was happy with these until I went to inspect them for wear and realized after riding on the for just a couple months, there is a fair amount of play and there was still a fair amount of resistance to spin them. I removed the nut to hold them together, then a bearing that appears to just be used as a spacer because it spins freely of the pedal and serves no other purpose, you can see it in the pictures above right next to the nut. I was surprised to find that was the only ball bearing in the pedal, the spindle uses bushings that were already wearing out after only 2-3 hundred miles of use. Pedals have to endure hundreds of pounds of force while being able to spin with as least resistance as possible for long periods of time. Plastic (hopefully it's Teflon at least) bushing that size are not able to handle those kind of continued stresses. This is very disappointing because I really liked this pedal but now I have to go find another set that actually uses bearings properly. Save your money and buy a better pedal.

Great price on a quality light weight pedal
Great price on a quality light weight pedal. I was specifically looking for a thin profile yet strong (I am a heavy rider) pedal for a bike with limited pedal/crank to ground clearance to avoid pedal strikes. Thin profile pedals can get quite expensive. These fit the bill nicely. Excellent grip. Very quick shipping and delivery for an overseas supplier. Highly recommended.

They Dont Spin Freely
The pedals look good and are relatively cheap. Grip is good and so far they have stood up well to several rock strikes. I am giving them 3 stars because they have dont spin freely. I noticed they had more resistance to spin than any other pedal I owned. First chalked it up to them being new. After 300 kms, the resistance was still there, it was maybe even worse then when new. I tried adjusting the locknut, it had very little effect besides giving the pedal more play. So I took them apart. To my surprise, all the rotation is done on what looks to be a greased up bushing, and I am not sure if it is an actual bushing at all.

Great pedals, ultra light and perfect for cross country/moderate to light trail riding. Read the description (clearly stated for use). excellent grip and fully adjustable pins.Pros : very lightcan be rebuiltpins can be adjusted (might need to find washers from the local hardware shop) not an issue for melarge openings (ice, snow and mud) clears off the platform with minimal effort.Cons : bearings are a little tight (upon delivery) minimal adjustment. Was not a big complaint for me.

Good pedals, convex shape not great.
The actual quality of the material is fine and they are very grippy, especially for being such an open design. I got these for my fat tire bike and it's great being able to punch snow, mud, and ice right through them. The edges are thinner than the center spindle so if you wear thin shoes you feel the thickness of the big round center section which is not desirable. Hard to tell this in the pictures.
