Pretty great
i work at home, and i also game on my pc, so i spend a lot of time at my desk. after browsing through a bunch of Serta chairs (which are supposed to be "the best" for comfort and support) and reading a lot of bad reviews, i widened my search and found this one.it's been about two weeks, and i'm pretty happy with it so far. here are pros and cons.Pros:- easy to set up. i'm lousy at putting things together, and i got it assembled in about 15 minutes with no frustration. an allen wrench is included in the box.- microfiber, NOT fake leather ("pleather", "bonded leather", etc). that stuff cracks in no time, and then your chair is useless. it's also sticky in the summer and cold in the winter. this microfiber is soft, comfy, and feels great on your skin too...and it's easy to clean, and it won't crack like fake leather.- decent padding. i wouldn't call it ultra-plush, but the seat and back are decently soft and cushy. at this price range, i'm happy. i have some chronic lower back pain, and using this chair for a few weeks has really reduced it.- pretty good back height. i'm 6'1 and i can lean back comfortably with my neck and lower back of my head resting, if i recline a bit while sitting.- fairly wide seat space. i'm 6'1 and about 190 lbs, and there's plenty of space between the arms. not so wide that i'm uncomfortable...not so narrow that i feel squeezed in. perfect, actually.Cons:- no headrest, but i knew that when i bought this chair. a headrest would be nice, but chairs with them are typically quite a bit more expensive. if you want to spend $300 on a cheaply built, fake leather "gaming chair" with a headrest, feel free...but for me, a better quality chair without the headrest is better.- a bit of creak and squeak. this is unavoidable no matter how much you spend, though. my boss has a $1400 leather chair in his office, and even that squeaks. i put a little WD-40 on it, and the squeak is gone. you may have to reapply it during the winter months, when it's very dry indoors.- the arms are plastic, not metal. be VERY careful about putting weight on the arms, or they'll probably crack. my wife always sits in chairs with her legs folded under her, and she tends to lift herself up on the arms to tuck her legs under...and this chair didn't like that. if you need something heavy duty, get a chair with metal arms.- the box is huge and heavy. if you have back problems or you're a tiny person, be ready to ask for help lifting and carrying it, because it's bulky and heavy.all in all, i'm pleased with this chair. i looked at probably 50 others, and i'm not disappointed by this one. i'd prefer metal arms, but until i'm prepared to spend about $150 more, this chair will suffice.

Affordable Soft Desk Chair
Assembly was straight forward. However once completed it felt like the chair leaned a little forward? So I engineered a little and used large rubber feet and a metal to gain some lift on the two front bolts which gave it about a 1/4” boost (see my 2nd photo). That did the trip and it feels like the seat itself is flat. I actually had seen this in another review as well. The chair is soft to sit in and for provides adequate lumbar support. I am a 200 lb. Man and work from home so at the end of the day I don’t have any back pain. My last chair had a higher back where this one does not so I had to get used to that but no big deal. This was an open box from Amazon for a cost under $100. Great buy tconsidering so many office chairs are ridiculously expensive. Even new this chair would be worth it!

If You're Short - Read This Review!!!
I'll give it 4 stars instead of 5 because it's too high for people of shorter stature. But really, 98% of all chairs are. I never order an office chair on-line, I usually go to a store to pick one out because of this. I'm 5'1". I see office chairs all the time for the "Big and Tall" but never any for the "Short and Small". Alas, I visited 4 office furniture suppliers in my area and couldn't find a single chair that allowed my feet to rest firmly on the floor. But I found a product on Amazon that is awesome! It's the "MySit 2.2" Stroke Office Chair Gas Lift Cylinder Replacement". It's $24.99 - but it works! I got one and used it in place of the gas cylinder that came with this chair and now the chair is perfect! It dropped the height of the seat by 2-3 inches. When this chair wears out and I get a new one, I'll save the gas cylinder and use it on my next chair. It's removable. I wish I'd discovered something like this years ago! And when it finally gives up the ghost, I'll buy another one. Now that I have one, I won't be so seriously limited in my choice of office chairs ever again! I should state at this point that I'm not affiliated with the MYSit Company in any way. I'm just short LOL! And now for the chair: Now that it fits, I love it! The seat has a nice spring to it. I wish it tilted a bit more, but maybe it just needs breaking in. The upholstery is very soft against the skin, not cold like the newer fake leathers. The padding on the arms is nice and cushy, not hard. I'd recommend the chair for folks who don't like mesh or fake leather. But if you're short - get one of those MySit gas cylinders! You won't regret it! 😃

Best chair for the money
I tried to find a cloth chair to replace one I had for years that still worked and was very comfortable but the padding was starting to compress. After trying out plenty of chairs this was the one that finally won out. I wanted cloth to be breathable and soft, I wanted it to be mid back and have a small profile not a huge eyesore when not being used. This chair is as close to perfect as they come. The only thing I don't like is that the arms are not able to not be installed. Many chairs have arms that attach under the chair and don't need to be put on if you don't want them. I'm not watching tv in this thing I sit in it all day for work and would like to put the chair under the desk when finished. Because the arms support the back you don't have that option. All of the positive reviews are accurate and is why I took a chance on ordering it without seeing it first. I ordered the grey one and should mention its not a common grey color.
