Where can I find a guide that tells me which strips apply to which of the three summers (i.e. light, true, and soft)?

Our system has any season with the possibility of being blended with any of the other seasons. This would mean you could be a Summer with a Winter influence, a Summer with an Autumn influence and a Summer with a Spring influence, as well as an absolute Summer with no blending. Because I don't know what the light, true and soft refer to, you will need to educate me as to what that means, we would be happy to give you corresponding star colors for each of those.

what kind of summer type is that color swatch? Cool summer? soft summer or light summer?

The Color Me A Season fans are designed for the color analyst, to help the client with which of the summer colors in their fan are the absolute best. A Summer can wear any of the colors in the fan, but some will be spectacular. i.e, hair color, eye color, dark skin tone, light skin tone. Follow the directions in the accompanying fan booklet to zero in on your own specific colors. The seasonal blends are how we refer to those within each season that others call, light, bright, etc. See "A Rainbow In Your Eyes" by Bernice Kentner for further detail on those seasonal blends.
