Reason - I am using ZAAP One Touch mount for past 2 years and the reason I wanted the ease of operating with magnetic mount while driving. I had slight trouble while putting/removing the phone from my old mount as well as it used to a noticeable blind spot while phone was not on the mount. This issue is true for all those types of the mounts, and I am not taking away the credit from ZAAP mount, which is a absolutely superior product in itself and best in its class. I was very happy using it in this car and I am still using it in my parents vehicle.Material - is at par with other costlier alternatives.Assembly and dash mounting - was a breeze, suction cup is great and never leaves the place if attached properly (Tip- fix this mount on dash/ windshield after loosing the movable arm for full extension of suction lever and firm grip)Metal Plates - two of these are provided with some serious 3M adhesive strips, which are super strong and super thin.Tip - plan carefully how u want to use these plates, because the adhesive is very strong and is best for one time use.There are various options and I am making a detailed assessment as in haste I had made some mistakes which I regretted very quickly.(A) If u are using any sort of mobile cover/case -Option 1 - keep these plates between the mobile and cover without pasting it anywhere..Pro - this is the best option which is temp and saves everything - the original mobile back cover, ur additional cover and the plates themselves as they are not fixed to anything and can be easily used with other mobile with cover. This is the best option because u have not committed to any permanent changes.. Cons - Although these are super thin plates they will definitely deform the cover, however small be the change, luckily, one can get used the change quite easily.Option 2 - If u want to reduce the bulk caused in the cover to minimum by taking away the protective plastic over the adhesive surface then be very deliberate.(2a) The best option in this case will be to stick the plates directly on phone body..Pro - the phone back cover is anyway hidden due to case/cover and there no aesthetic change and u don't have any hassle during change of the cover in future.. Con - u will have some serious adhesive over ur phone in case u want to go bareback in future.(2b) If u dont want to use it directly on the phone, then stick it on inside of the cover (and never on outside). Pro - This way u can still have brand new phone without and adhesive marks while having good mount. Cons - but with the next cover change only option left is to place plate between the case and mobile.** Never stick the plates on external surface of the cover - because if u do so it will definitely affect grip of the cover as well as looks, because the plates attract ton of finger prints smudge and the paint is easily scratchable after some days of use.(B) If u dont use any mobile cover/ case and u fix the plate directly over mobile back case then u are going to need one in very near future, because of above mentioned reasons.Magnet strength - is amazing and it holds on to the bulkiest mobiles on worst roads with ease. No issues in this department.Ease of use - is great, mounting/dismounting as well as change between portrait/ landscape mode the phone is very easy.Verdict - Buy it in haste, use it with proper deligiance.

Pros:- Ease of use.- Easy installation.- Simple design.Cons- Not that reliable if you are using a thicker mobile cover.- Curvy mobiles need to stick the plate and make it ugly- You need to sacrifice your AC duct and rely on other ducts to keep you cool in summer.So this product is awesome. Uses Magnets to keep your mobile in place (on ac duct). The mount is of good quality. Hope it is able to keep itself sturdy for long. For most phones just inserting the plate in between of cover should work given you use a thin cover and your phone isnt curved. But for curvy back (eg moto x and other motorola phones) you got to stick it so that cover gets proper grip. Which makes yiur phone ugly and most of motorola phones do not come with replaceable back cover.Using it on Bangalore's bumpy road..70-80% time it would remain intact. But then there are roads from hell and your phone will change orientations. Anyways a good product overall. You dont have to use two hands ever to attach an de-attach your phone and that is its biggest USP.

I had been looking for a high-quality mobile holder for my Renault Duster and I wanted something that would not obstruct my road view or the windshield in any way. I wanted something without buttons or springs and mounting on a place where running the charging cable for the mobile wouldn't look ugly.Kept on looking for months - looked at windshield vacuum mounts but they obstruct vision, looked at dashboard mounts but Duster has no flat places to place such a mount, looked at air-vent mounts and even CD tray mounts but nothing seemed sensible, let alone perfect.Finally decided to give this a try even though it was slightly expensive (bought it at Rs. 580 from Amazon). When the product was delivered, I was very keen to install it asap. I decided to install the mount on the steering wheel - the product comes with a 3M sticker which I wasn't very sure would stick and hold properly on the textured surface of the steering wheel. But it did stick quite nicely and it doesn't seem it would come off anytime soon. In the off chance that it does, there are extra stickers in the box.So with the mount installed, I proceeded to install the metal place on my OnePlus 3. I use a Nillkin opaque plastic case so the black color of the metal plate wasn't a problem. The plate attached to the mobile very firmly. The box comes with two plates so even if you have two mobiles or if maybe you share the car with a family member then they can use it for their mobile too.Finally tried placing my mobile on the mount and voila! It just works! No buttons, no springs, no suction cups, nothing blocking your view, no cables running in your face! The mount itself has a rubberized face and the magnet is pretty strong so it holds the phone very well in place. I haven't seen it moving a single inch be it potholes, speed-breakers or rumble strips.The mount itself is very simple and that's the beauty of it. It is very thoughtfully designed and is a very high-quality product. My wife also loved it so I bought one for her too (the price had come down to Rs. 499 till then).I would highly recommend the product to anyone looking for a no-nonsense, high-quality product. Yes, you do pay a bit more than a Chinese unbranded product but you get what you pay for :)

The glue came off due to heat. I don't know why that happened but till the time it was in use it was great, made with heavy quality, can be purchased.
