Value and increased EV3 flexibility
If you have EV3, this is a cheap add-on for an extra sensor for more build options. At $7, much cheaper than anywhere else. You need an Lego Mindstorms EV3 system to use this.

These touch sensors are crucial to most robot designs. My only complaint is that they're rather large. It would be nice to see a smaller version of the sensor.

Work perfectly
If these are not OEM, it is hard to tell the difference. They haven't gotten extensive use yet, but from preliminary testing they appear to function exactly the same as the one that came with my Mindstorms set.
