It will make mini, baby,"Bite sized" idlis. The quality seems fine, I would need bigger size idlis, hence returning the product

Good quality product, but size of idli will be very small.... Its not for making regular size idli

Size of the tray is very small, go for bigger one. Good quality

From Hawkins this is a very good IDLI maker especially if you are only one or two people but Two Things - 1. The most bottom plate is unusable since water from top comes down here. It should have been higher or had a greater ground clearance 2. This is Aluminium which is unhealthy to the T when cooking. Aluminum results in aluminium poisoning which is why I expected a brand like this to have the same thing in Stainless steel.

It’s a very cute stand, fits easily in a 3ltr cooker.The quality is good and lightweight. Easy to use and store. Reasonably priced and works well.Best for making masala idlis. Overall a great deal.
