I am quite a bit of a bag junkie and I took a personal vow not to buy any bags this year. Enter Urban Arc from Samsonite, I was immediately drawn to its urban and business but semi tactical and very minimalist design. I went for the black hue. This very spacious bag has a dedicated laptop compartment for large laptops right where the straps are in the back of the bag so the laptop stays right behind you at all times. I keep a spare pair of tactical pants in this compartment, fits like a glove. In the back straps area there is another smaller compartment for passport or similar documents etc. The second compartment in the middle is really spacious with another laptop compartment, as well as a secondary tablet compartment. The opposite side of the same compartment has an organiser panel with a netted zipped compartment as well as phone and pen holders and a diary holder as well. The outer compartments are single zipped but very well designed and slim enough to keep journey related tickets or documents on the go. The bottom compartment is the same length by the depth is shorter, and I use it for keeping phone charging cables and my computer spectacles. The side pockets are stretchable with the base stitched at the back and slides in and out very smoothly yet strongly. Its on the upper end of the price for a laptop bag, but if you travel a lot like I do, and want to keep the business look intact without sacrificing the vacation aspects of your travel plans, all the while looking professional and quite tactical too, then bag is for you. I have many bags from upper end Delsey, Columbia, North Face right up to regular Reebok and Nike fares, and I can highly recommend this bag to anyone with similar goals.For those thinking too much about the price, a regular laptop will last just about one year and cost 5 times as much. If this bag lasts even as long as its warranty for 2 years and with a bit of care at least 4 years is what I am hoping, it has already paid you back many times over. For those who don't need encouragement, you could buy other even more expensive bags from brands like Tumi, but I suppose unless you specially need a photography bag you would not want to buy a laptop bag right?
