Best base yet
This base is far superior to the base that comes on the original chair from the VEVOR.Original base broke. Chair is fine. This base is solid metal and is highly recommended. Great value, easy to assemble and a good height. Fit the cylinder exactly. No noise.

It improved not just fixed my old chair!
This did not just fix the old chair, it improved it! The old chair had a plastic base and all plastic wheels. After about 6 or 7 years of use, one of the wheels kept coming off. This base glides over the tile in my office. The hydraulic chair lift works like a dream. I will be buying at least 3 more to improve existing chairs. When you find a chair that works, fixing it is better than throwing it away. Thank you for selling this product. Have a blessed day.

sturdy, supports easily 300-400lbs (have a thick friend)
Sturdy, you're not gonna really feel like you're gonna break these.... Supports practically any weight , normal height for a office chair and was very easy to put together, perfect dimensions meant the screws lined up perfectly.Only draw back I found was that my chair now has a off center of gravity as the Rollers on the legs arent as far apart as my old one... If I lean forward I may tip, but thats on me and your results will vary based on your chair.Doubt ill have to buy another one any time soon so very good bang for the buck and the cylinder doesn't deflate as i sit in it all day.

Super Sturdy and Stylish — Perfect Upgrade for a Broken Chair
What I bought this for:I bought this VEVOR 28" replacement base after the original legs on my office chair cracked. I needed something heavy-duty and reliable because my old base kept wobbling under daily use.First impressions:Right out of the box, this base looks strong and well-built. The black-and-white design gives it a modern edge — way more stylish than the standard chrome legs. The casters roll smoothly, and the legs feel like they can take a beating.Performance & Installation:It was super easy to install. The standard gas lift and seat fit right in with no issues. It’s wide and well-balanced, and I immediately felt the stability difference. I’ve been using it daily, and it feels rock solid — no wobble, no noise, no stress.Pros:• Heavy-duty and stable• Cool, modern design• Smooth-rolling casters• Easy to installCons:• Slightly wider footprint — check your space before upgrading• Not all casters may match your flooring needs (but you can swap them)Would I recommend it?Absolutely. If your chair base broke or you just want to upgrade to something sturdier, this one’s worth every penny. It can easily support heavier use, and it looks good doing it.Tips for Buyers:Measure your chair’s gas lift size to confirm fit (standard usually works)Keep the old casters if you prefer softer wheels for hardwood floors

Strong, sturdy. Thick metal. Heavy. Great replacement for overpriced junk office chair bases.
This is what you buy when you go "cheap" on a computer chair that's over $100 on amazon and the base snaps.(Ok, that's why I bought this.)It's a good base. heavy. Thick metal. Two thick screws hold each leg on.When the rest of this chair fails, I'll be sure to keep and reuse this base. It'll probably out live my next chair too.

Missing part. Poor customer service.
This base arrived with 9 of the 10 screws I was supposed to use to assemble it. I wrote customer service with the part number from the assembly manual and asked for either a replacement OR the measurements I'd need to just buy one. Customer service responded that they'd need a photo or video of the "missing or damaged part" and followed it up with a message that they'd cancel the work ticket unless I provided photos.I took photos of the hole that was missing the screw and sent it back. They responded that the part was "out of stock," but I could go download a pdf with the measurements to buy one. Or, I could disassemble, package and return the whole thing to Amazon. So, no replacement part, and apparently no way to just type the measurements in the message? The response seemed to be AI (the word "Incense" was randomly inserted in the text), so maybe that explains it.With all that runaround (days of messages back and forth) for a single missing screw, there's no way I'd order anything from the same manufacturer.
