I bought this product to replace the same failing product in my wife's Toshiba Satellite computer. I bought the new drive on 09/05/2012 and it started failing the same way at the beginning of February, 2013. The drive sticks such that the computer does not boot. I have to remove the drive from the laptop, tap it gently on all sides, put it back in the laptop, and hope for the best. In order to avoid this problem, I changed the settings on the laptop such that it does not turn off or sleep. My wife is under strict orders not to shut down her computer, or close it. So far, reboots due to Microsoft updates have not caused the drive to stick. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU DON'T BUY THIS DEFECTIVE PRODUCT.
