Beats Solo HD Wired On-Ear Heapdhone - Matte Light Blue (Discontinued by Manufactuer)

Beats are Beats - there's nothing really left to be said. I own several pairs of these, including the Studios, however, purchased the Solo HDs because the Studios' ear cups were too big for me to wear them outside because they kept hitting me on the chin when draped around my neck during non-listening times. The Drenched in series come in a matte finish and are gorgeous, creamy and feel great, since the glossiness of their shinier brethren are fingerprint magnets (although, let's be real, that's no surprise as anything with a gloss finish shows fingerprints...no shocker there). At $200 a pop, that's a lot and, yes, anyone with a brain realizes a lot of that chunk of dinero is based on the brand, but I bought an iPod because it's an iPod, an iPhone because it's an iPhone and wear Guess and Armani Exchange because they're Guess and Armani Exchange - we all have our brands and Beats, by a large margin, are the creme de la creme of coolness in headphones. Sound quality? Depending on the genre, muddled or blaring (with the latter when a bass-heavy or more mainstream song is on), but Beats have never been truly about the amazing crystalline sound quality (get Bose if you want that). They also sit well against my ears and, for me, almost provide a miniature bit of noise canceling just by fit alone (they don't have noise cancelation built in like, say, my Studios, though). At the end of the day, Beats are a brand based on big fat bass and making a fashion statement and offer better than decent sound.

firstly, the original packaging really great,the scent of newness! inside the packaging even better you wont believe that head phone pack neatly in a zipper case like a purse.love the colour.I really bought it for my co-worker,he hooked it up to his phone , the sound that came out of it was AWSOME! I love it made me feel to get my own.It played really clear,every detail.base you name it.Before, he was studying the amt of money for it ,but when he heard the sound coming from it he said " I`m not studying the money anymore". HE`S GREATLY SATISFIED,HE LOVES IT! and I`m glad! So, thank you! P.S even kids n high school talking bout Dr.Dre`s new headphone.

I love my Beats headphones. I was skeptical that the headphones would not be worth the money, but they cancel out all noise and the sound quality is great. There are a variety of colors for anyone to choose from. The headpiece adjusts and the ear piece moves to fit your head and ears perfectly. The size is not a problem as they collapse down and fit in the Beats case. This also makes them great to travel with. You can take them anywhere and if they get dirty the smooth surfaces make it easy to clean. I would recommend these headphones to anyone.

I got these for my son and he loves them yes my son! i think this color looks like a girl too. Tried to get him to order the red but he wanted this aqua blue which is a realy pretty color but to me it just looks like a girl color. He loves the beats and says they sound good. the only problem is he wears them on his ears all the time and cant here anything i tell him to do ha! ha! so as far as i can tell the beats are great.

Sound quality is awesome. However after 6 months of daily use, the upper pad fell off and the ear pads are disintegrating. Material quality should be a lot better for such expensive headphones.

Sound is great, they are a little small and the color wasn't exactly teal... more like baby blue. Otherwise the sound is amazing!

they hold nicely on my ears and sound great. I listened to all kind of music and they all come out great of my headset. MY daughter loves the color and soft to the ears.

Pretty good at noise cancellation. I got this mainly for the color. I noticed I could hear some outside noise, and turning it a little louder would hurt my ears.

Nothing special not enough to warrant the high price.
