Urban Platter Dried Date Powder, 300 g

At first I felt it was not sweet enough, and it's not ,compared to date paste, but I used it in salads where I needed a bit of sweet and it's flavour turned out to be quite nice. I used it in smoothies when I was short on bananas as the sweetener and that too turned out to be a good decision. So I am using it more and more -I like to use dates as sweeteners instead of any form of processed sugar -and now will add date powder where it seems more appropriate than date paste.

Its either you like it or you don't like it. The sweetness is nowhere comparable to actual sugar but the sweetness you find is this is very soft and delicate.

Whatever they claim. It stands to it. If you’re hear for having something sweet without spiking your blood sugar. This is a perfect thing. Also if you still find jaggery sugar a better alternative go for it but it’s really not that different from your regular sugar. It’s just a little bit more nutritious by 20% or so. It will still spike your blood sugar.CAUTION!It will leave undissolved residue which not pleasant but you can always filter out and you will take sometime getting used to different flavour and it is usually going to requires more spoons than your regular sugar.

The media could not be loaded. The product when opened the very day it arrived had insects crawling all over . Taste was also bad due to same reason. Had bought it for my 1 year old son, fortunately did not feed him. Really really disappointed with the quality of product.

Good product in good packaging. Though they claim it's 100% dry dates, i feel there are seeds ground along , may not be in huge quantity but it seems to be there.I am using it as sweetener for whey protein. It mildly sweeten my shake.

This was an amazing treat. Super delicious😍. I was able to finish it off in just two days. The quantity is just 300 grams. I have tried another brand from amazon (1kg pack) , its still kept as is. Most of the Urban platter products are supreme quality👌🏻

Flavor is not good at all. I earlier purchased dates powder from early foods which is too good in comparison to this.
