ConvaTec Stomahesive Strips- Moldable Adhesive,15/Pack

It was dry and unmouldable. Total waste of money.

Been using them for years, and these work just as well as the ones I order from my insurance provider. Now buying all my products, pastes, etc. on Amazon. Worth the price. Recommend.

I'm a long time ostomate (32 years). For about the past 8 years, I've had a horrible time keeping a pouch on properly. I sometimes go through 4-10 changes per day. I've seen a few ET's (ostomy nurses) during this time who have provided very little help. Everything that they suggested was something I was already doing. I ran across this product while doing some research online. I read in a forum where this product was quite helpful to some of the people there, so I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, it didn't help as I hoped it would. The pouch was coming off even more frequently when I used this these strips.Having said that, these strips can be very helpful. I know that they have helped a lot of people. I'm just not one of them...at least not at the moment. I would order these again if I felt that they might help. They may be just what I need at a future date. And, I would certainly order from this seller again. The bottom line is I think it's a good product, but just not for me.

Bought these for my dad who is an ostomate and he hates them. First of all, it's really hard to get the strips out of the packaging (I had to use scissors). Secondly, these are nothing like the Convatec stomahesive paste. The strips are moldable, but after you mold them to fit your stoma, the material isn't sticky anymore (there's barely any adhesion to begin wtih). For strips, I would recommend the Coloplast brava strips (my dad really likes them) or just stick to the stomahesive paste from Convatec.
