Quality, click and portability
Super smooth, almost null clicking sound. Handy; easily portable even in pocket. Good in this price range. Makes little clacking sound when shaken. Let me tell after one year of use.

Reliable, good quality mouse
I got this mouse 3 years back so this is like a review post long-term usage. I've never had an issue with connectivity or performance the entire time. The responsiveness and DPI are good for the price range. Plus it's surprisingly sturdy over this long period of usage considering I use it often also for gaming. Past couple of months the buttons have gotten a bit tough to respond and u need to press harder to make it register, but since it's this old and I've never once opened it up to mantain or cleanup, thats fair. Seems like it'll still function fine until i get a new one. Ive had to change the battery a few times this year but never really felt it was draining too much. Decent battery life. The size is possibly a bit on the smaller end so people with larger palm size may feel an issue using it. All in all, very good value for money. Honestly i was hoping I'd be doing this an year ago but it outlived my expectations for it.

**NOT anymore ** A great mouse
Update - Just before its first anniversary the left click stopped working. I took it to the service center and since it was under warranty I got a replacement. Which worked fine for around 7-8 months and the left click stopped working again. Clearly I wont get a replacement for a replacement. By the way I am casual user, I kept in my laptop bag which I rarely open in months. Due to the lockdown I got an opportunity to use it and its a big disappointment. Reducing my previous 5 star rating to 1 star...... DON'T BUY. ---------------------------------- Old review: I bought it in Blue color for Rs. 1095 from the seller "SUPER DEALS 24X7", around 5 months back and I am using it at for personal use. Here is what I think about it: 1) Packaging and delivery: Top grade. The box had the mouse sealed in the its plastic shell. 2) Size: The dimensions are identical as its elder brother m185. I have average size palm and it fits beautifully. If you have giant hands, first try it on some local store. 3) Looks: Again, it is identical to m185. Blue looks really vibrant in a good way but it is not the exact shade what appears in the images. Same goes with the Red one I guess. I suggest you to visit youtube for a real-time look. 4) Function: There is slider button at the bottom to power on the mouse. There is no indicator if the mouse is on. In fact, there is no unnecessary light from the mouse (and its good because it doesn't hurt or distract your eyes in the dark). It's a 3 buttons mouse with the center button doubling up as vertical scroll. The center wheel has an inbuilt-stopper so the scroll stops as soon as you lift up your finger (if your works needs a lot of scrolling this could be a concern) 5) Silence: Oh yeah! all three buttons are silent as hell. Though you when you press any button its gives a little feedback. Loved it. 6) Battery: It runs on one AA battery. The battery which came pre-installed with the mouse is from brand GP alkaline. It had a paper stopper to prevent the flow of the current. To use it, you need just to remove the paper stopper and you are good to go. The battery life is claimed to be 18 months. 7) Gaming: I haven't tested it with Gaming but I don’t think wireless mouse can deliver that accuracy a gamer needs. Conclusion: It's a great mouse for those who have average palm size, don't want clicking noise and wants a better battery life (than m185 which has 12 months). Overall I think it is worth paying extra Rs 300 for the features and the bright color’s In case you don’t what them, you may go for m185 which is quite old but is still a nice compact mouse for normal users.

Good Mouse - Fast pairing and very silent while using
The product was delivered within 24 hours. Placed the order at night and in the morning, it was delivered before 10:00 am. As with any Logitech product, the M221 silent mouse is good. The mouse paired with the dongle as soon as it was inserted, no issues at all. I was a little concerned since I had one more dongle from Dell for the Keyboard and my old dongle was also in the USB hub. Regardless of the presence of more than one dongle, the M221 paired and started to function almost instantenously. The mouse packaging doesn't contain any quick start guide or instruction manual. A QR code pointing to one page summary of instructions should have been good. One feature of the mouse (auto scroll - up/down) can be activated, when you push the scroll wheel towards you - left side. The mouse icon would change that you can easily notice - now you can auto scroll fast or slow based if you jus move the mouse in the direction that you want only once. This is a very useful feature for those who are reviewing long documents and browsing through long web pages. The mouse is very silent in its operation, except for some sound during scrolling. Overall, I am good with this product. Thanks Logitech and Amazon

Sensitive and nifty mouse with a sizing problem
Only used it for a few hours. I had a Microsoft wired mouse with an audible click before this. Cons: too small. It feels like a children's toy. I would have loved had the size been 10-15% larger in all dimensions. I tried looking for larger mice but it seems that logitech doesn't offer too many sizing variants. The connection took a minute or so. On a related note, if you are using composite dongles that connect with you a keyboard-mouse set, they may interfere with the dongle for this mouse. The solution is to remove the composite dongle, plug in the logitech dongle, followed by re-plugging the composite dongle. The clicks are incredible silent, however, it comes at the expense of button travel. If you are used to using a loud mouse with a noticeable button travel, the m221 will throw you off. You will end up accidentally clicking or clicking too many times because you didn't realize you clicked. The mouse comes with a single use battery and a USB dongle that's tucked away under the battery door. It doesn't have a visible laser like older mice did. Pros: there's no lag or stutter between my movements and the pointer on the screen. The mouse is sensitive and tracks finer movements. It could have become a great pointing device for tasks that require finer movements and sensitivity had it been 10-15% larger for a perfect male grip and control. Ergonomics are acceptable. The scroll is seamless. It works on soft and hard pads as well as smooth desk surfaces. Overall: it's great device for everyday use. But if you have larger hands and have been using larger, louder mice, then this will take some getting used to. I'll update my review in a few months if I notice more pros or cons, or if I need to modify my review.
