At this Price, it Should Be Perfect - It's Sub Par
While this is definitely a light hold and fine mist spray, I have regrets at this price for what it actually does. I purchased this and the styling cream in travel sizes, both designed for Straight to Curly hair, to use with my Dyson Air Straight. I have used this both after the styling cream to set straightened, dry hair, as well as without the styling cream as a final step. When used with the Air Straight on freshly straightened hair, running it through the Air Straight one final time to set - it does set the style and keeps it good for refresh. But the hair loses softness. When I refreshed the style on Day Two, again the the spray, it felt even less soft but did what it was supposed to do, except my hair also seemed stringy. I have very fine, long hair. As a styling counterpart, I did not like it. It did not add to anything positive for Day Three. In comparison, using *only* Loreal Elvive Hyaluron + Plump 2% Replumping Serum on wet hair and running it wet to dry through the Dyson Air Straight gave me three days of good hair that was soft to touch, with minimal refresh using only the machine. My second attempt at using this spray was to tame humidity and fly-aways at the root, after using the Loreal product on wet hair, using the machine wet to dry. When using it as a finishing spray only, just at the roots on top, it did tame hair well in Houston humidity. However, this price point is ridiculous for what it is. As for the smell, it's not horrible and it's not great. I'm sensitive to smells, and this did not give me a headache, but it wasn't a fantastic salon smell either, which i would expect from this price point. In short, go with what you know works, not this. There are better products out there at better price points.

Good for natural looking styles
This styling spray feels lightweight and doesn’t leave a stiff or sticky finish. The hold is flexible, so it keeps movement instead of locking the hair in place. The mist is fine and distributes evenly, which helps avoid buildup. It works well for setting or refreshing a style. It’s on the higher end price wise, but makes sense if you prefer a softer hold.

Helpful, Styling Spray!
This styling spray is a good addition to one’s hair care routine. This is a Dyson Chitosan Multi-use styling spray. It arrives with one container of hair spray. The company currently carries three size options, which include Travel Size, Refill Size, and Standard Size. This is nice because if one buys the full-size option, then they are able to just order a refill afterword's. We decided to start off with the s The dimensions are approximately 4.92’’ x 1.46’’ x 1.38’’ and about 3.17oz. The can has a 1.2’’ barrel. The color is a dark purple with a pink top. It uses a Dyson Triodetic technology, amino acid blend, and bamboo extract. This hair spray assists one to maintain their day’s choice of hair style and smell like bergamot. The nicest parts, according to my wife, are that it does not leave her hair feeling crunchy afterwards and smells nice. It arrives in a nice cardboard box that is easy to open, so that one is able to take the spray out and use it right away. Running at about $74 for this styling product, it feels on the higher-side as most Dyson products do, but overall it feels like an okay price for a nicely-scented hair spray.

Lightweight styling spray with flexible hold, natural movement, and no noticeable buildup
I’ll start with the obvious, this spray is expensive, which is pretty typical for Dyson. The bottle, like their heat tools, has a sleek, beautiful design that feels minimal and modern, and it dispenses a consistently fine, clean mist every time. I was really curious about it because of their Triodetic technology, which is supposed to create flexible hold using chitosan derived from oyster mushrooms instead of the usual stiff styling polymers (like PVP or acrylates copolymers) you typically find in traditional hairsprays. I chose to test it on my dry hair since that’s how I usually use multi-styling sprays for refresh and restyling. My fine hair was already styled (second and third day hair), but it was flat with some kinks that had surfaced and frizzy, especially around my crown and face after sleeping and being outside. I lightly misted small sections, then used a blow dryer with a round boar bristle brush to restyle. Dyson notes it’s designed to be used with air-based tools, not flat irons. It really acts more like a hybrid styler than a traditional hairspray, giving light hold while adding volume and smoothing. What I noticed right away was how lightweight it felt. There’s no crunchy or sticky texture at all, my hair still felt soft and touchable. It did a really nice job bringing back volume at the roots and smoothing out frizz, plus it added a subtle healthy-looking sheen without weighing my hair down. My hair also still had a lot of natural movement in the areas where it was used, which I really liked. It held up well for the day, and I used it again the next day with similar results. It didn’t create any noticeable buildup, which I usually get when using other styling products. There was a light scent, nothing distinct, just pleasant. (it's Bergamot) It works well as a 'refresh' product for already styled (second and third day hair), not just something you use on damp hair. My style looked revived without feeling like I had product buildup. Ingredient-wise, it’s different from typical hairsprays. It’s non-aerosol with no parabens, and includes conditioning ingredients like wheat protein and bamboo extract. Instead of 'gluing' hair in place, it creates a flexible hold so your hair still moves naturally. Not sure it’s worth the expense for everyone, since there are other products that may work just as well or even better if you’re only using it once before washing your hair. To me, this functions more as a styling spray rather than a traditional holding hairspray. It works well for me because I don’t wash my hair every day or every other day and usually keep my style for longer than just a day or two. One thing to note: It does contain a small amount of silicone (methicone), which is listed at the very end of the ingredient list, so it’s a low concentration mainly for smoothing and shine. Overall, I was impressed with how well it revived my style without stiffness. The results are great, especially for fine hair, but whether it’s worth the price will depend on how much you value that soft, flexible, shiny finish over traditional styling hold. I would put this at 4.5 stars if I could, since price is the only drawback I found in my experience. I’m not sure how long it will last, but if it outperforms traditional sprays or gels in longevity, the value could be more reasonable.

Not for thick curls
Wanted to love it. Did nothing for my hair. Doesn’t hold even a natural curl and hair is still frizzy. Does not work as a curl refresher. May work better for people who blow dry straight. Hair does feel soft and it smells nice. Packaging is gorgeous.

Not my cup of tea
I love the pre-style serum and the post-style serum, but was not crazy about the styling spray. The bottle is tiny and it did not hold at all. It seems that it may have been worse than not using anything. I will tell you that I grew up in the ‘80s and ‘90s and the days of aquanet so maybe I am not a good judge, but I have gone away from that type of styling now, but still want a little more hold in the spray I use. I think the pre and post do a good job of hold my hair in place. For the price, I don’t think it is worth the hype.

Excellent styling product, no buildup, worth the price
I bought the small size because it is quite an expensive product, but so far I’m still using it and it’s been two months or more? You put it on before styling the hair, and if you’re doing your hair in sections like curling, it do a squirt and then do the style on each section and it really does work! The smell is kind of earthy but not offensive at all, and once it dries, there’s no residual smell. If you do it on a straight style, your hair has a kind of gloss to it and it feels really nice. I bought it because I bought the Dyson hairstyler and this works perfectly with that as well as with curling irons, etc., I was kind of dubious because of the price, but I’m over that, it’s definitely a good deal!
