JR 1 : Killing Floor Paperback – 5 August 2010

I’ve read a few reacher books in the past. Love the story telling. the plot of this book is comparatively slow, and requires patience. All in all, it’s a great read! A good first novel by Lee Child.

It is a brilliant book full of suspence. Has a bit of laguage issues and there are too many details. The book has too much of violence so not recommend for chirdren. Otherwise the story and the suspense is awesome. the book is worth it. It is a good read.

This book was one hell of a journey! I don't usually like action sequences in any way, I was a bit skeptical about the book and wasn't sure I'd like it. But the book was awesome! Sure, it had some action, but I really loved the plot and its development. I really liked the characters and their conversations in specific. Lee Child's writing was so simple, yet enjoyable. Eager to try all the other ones from Jack Reacher series.

Overall there was good logic and deduction across the book except when Reacher finds Hubble. That for me was complete hogwash. Also, I think the first person view sometimes got a little boring with Reacher describing minute details and observations..Overall a decent book, and I finished it in three days, but I wanted more thrill and logical reasoning which was missing at various places

Wanted to read a thrilling Page Turner. Did a bit of research and got the book.The book is about Jack Reacher who is a retired Miltary person wandering around all across landing up in a silent town of Margrave in Georgia. Suddenly, he is arrested for a murder and is then pulled into a huge web of murders and mysteries happening in the town.The author has written the book very interestingly revealing the twists one by one and keeping the readers glued. Whenever I thought of finishing a chapter and breaking, the suspense pulled me into the next one and so on. The methodologies followed by Jack Reacher are extremely interesting and systemic. The characterization is also fantastic.If you are looking for a Detective Thriller, it is a go to book...

One must take their hat off to Lee Child! The prose is electric, as is the storyline and the twist.However, the book might come off as dated and might make the reader uncomfortable. After all would you be comfortable with your protagonist blatantly objectifying a woman! I found that hard to reconcile with. The book was published in 1994, and the world has moved on, something that the TV series does take note of.

It was a great read, very fast paced and interesting all the time with no “filler” chapters! Would strongly recommend!

I started reading the visitor version first .. And I liked it so without waiting I ordered some more .. As this is first in all I started reading this book ..I like jack reacher character more than movie .Overall good book .. Good for those who read for entertainment .. U will not find any brain storming .. But its worth it .. Its like watching good movie .. Go for it
