My son loves reading this book over and over again. The illustrations are amazing in detail. I notice something new each time I read it so I don't mind reading it over and over.

Grandsons aged 6yrs and 4yrs delighted. They now have them all, the eldest had spotted it in another of the series and realised they hadn’t got it so asked granny! It is in excellent used condition and arrived earlier than expected. Always a bonus. Another good story with plenty for non readers to spot in the illustrations.

The little red train books, like all by Benedict Blathwayt, are beautifully illustrated, and this one is no exception. There are tonnes of hidden details and the cartoonish style really appeals to the kids. So much better than most of the dross out there.

All my grandsons from 18months have poured over this series of books all of which have given hours of pleasure. The details are just so interesting to children of all ages and encourage closer observation and then a love of books and reading. Highly recommended! Purchase the whole series and work from the large sized version down.
