REVIEW AFTER 10 DAYS USE
The product has 6 pieces..kadhai, 2 idli plates, steamer plate, dhokla plate and glass lid. I made IDLI around 6 times. Everytime they came out good and soft. It takes 15 minutes to make 1 set. I make 2 sets for 1 meal. Taking the plates out when hot is a bit difficult, i made the mistake of touching the black part on the plate and almost burned my thumb. So, we should wait for it to cool down a bit. I made MOMOS 2 times. They came out good. At one time we can put 10-12 momos. Same 15 minutes for momos too DHOKLA i made once. It did not come out good but that maybe bcs of the recipe and not kadhai. I have not used kadhai for deep frying or making sabji yet bcs i want to use it only for steaming at leadt for a few months. PROS 1. LOOKS CLASSY 2. MAKES GOOD IDLIS AND MOMOS 3. GOOD SIZED IDLIS 4. ANODISED-SO BETTER FOR HEALTH CONS 1. A BIT BIG 2. THE IDLI PLATES AFTER MAKING IDLI 6 TIMES ARE SHOWING DISCOLOURATION 3. Prestige must learn from hawkins and other manufacturers.
Many buyers including me received the product with broken handle inside a good condition box. Why they(prestige) have not learned that the handle they designed is a faulty thing they did. Such a big kadhai with small steel patti with big plastic handle stick to it. Who would do such a big mistake. Look at hawkins kadhai with sturdy steel handles, learn something from them. Also sellers must pack this item in a very safe manner so that this fragile handle should not get broken until reached to buyer in transit. Hope prestige may read and try to fix such manufacturing mistakes. Thanks. Update: instead of return I ordered replacement and seller sent it immediately and I got the product in good condition within 2 days. Thanks ton to the seller. 5 stars to the seller šš
