Manual Ice crusher
This ice crusher is exactly like my parents had when I was younger, it’s exactly what I wanted too. Does not mount to the wall. You add ice in the top, crank the handle a few times and get crushed ice; nothing complicated. Very sturdy and easy to use, maybe old fashioned, but I wanted reliability as well as a bit of nostalgia.

Works and is small and simple.
So far this crusher works great. Its small and simple. Easy to clean. I have used it for a couple of weeks and have no issues.

Tighten before use and watch for feet coming out
First use I noticed it was loose, and as I investigated it came completely apart. If you are looking for a challenging puzzle, try putting these back together! The teeth are keyed so I know I got it together right, but it took a while. It crushes ice ok but gets hung up easily (need to hold it down and really put some muscle into it). I really couldn't tell the difference between coarse and fine but didn't really care. After second use one of the rubber feel came out and is lost. Without 4 rubber feet it rocks and slides all over and is basically useless.

Not easy to use
Does a nice job of ice-crushing -- but a bit hard to use. The crusher wants to move on the counter, so my hands were pretty tired by the time I had my ice crushed. I looked in vain for an electric or rechargeable version -- not a shaver (many of those!), just a crusher. So I just purchased a silicone tray for tiny ice cubes -- I suspect that will be better for me. (I'm old!)

This ice crusher is great...
Seriously i dont know how i did without this for so long...i was actually thinking of replacing my ice machine with one of those ice crushing ones till i saw the $400-$500 price tag...this thing chops through ice with ease and makes two sizes depending on which way you turn the handle...the ice bucket is very sturdy comparable to tupperware...i was so impressed i bought another for a gift...i would definitely recommend this...

Not at good product!
Ice crusher should have a suction cup on the base! It is very difficult to use this as the unit jumps all over the counter as you try to turn the crank. I had one before with a simple suction cup base and it worked beautifully. I am returning this as it is ridiculous!

Works good
You have to put a little work into it, but it does the job nicely. We like the crushed ice that it produces.

Lighter, plastic, manual ice crusher gets the job done, less desirable than its predecessors
This new lightweight manual ice crusher is virtually identical in dimensions and concept to the heavier metal one I bought at the big 6th Ave flea market about 20-something years ago when I lived in Chelsea. I thought maybe the aging metal tines would break off after years of use - or the white enamel on top section would scrape and fall into the crushed ice. But to the point: the new one is almost all plastic. That would include the top and bottom shells, etc. - fortunately the actual crushing mechanism IS metal. But the new one has little torque, little resistance to bouncing around as one crushes ice to either fine or coarse and a generally lighter, less secure feel. But I can't tell the difference in ice, as deposited into my Dewar's. If you can't find a genuine earlier one, as in prehistorical, non-electric small appliances, then this "new" one will do the job. Best for bicep gifted hand crankers. Cheers!

Best manual Ice crusher
We bought one of these years ago and it is still going strong so we got this one for the cottage. Really perfect for crushed ice.

No le encontré un uso útil después de comprarla
Tritura el hielo en granizo pero no lo suficiente para hacer raspados. No se me ocurre una situación donde poner hielo triturado sea mejor que poner hielo.
