STRICTLY BEDS&BUNKS Cleveland Pine Bed Frame, 3ft Single

Good solid pine bed with clear instructions for building. I’d recommend getting some help in building it though. I did build it on my own but it was a big effort, particularly attaching the side rails to the corner posts.One of my side rails were warped. The instructions say this is common but should slot in. Trying to get the bolts to align with the barrels added an extra hour to the build but I did it eventually. You really need one person forcing the wood to align while the second person inserts the bolts.All in all it was a three and a half hour build and I’m happy with the result. It feels solid and the surface is finely sanded. I decided against staining it but I cannot see any reason why it would not take a stain well.

Bought for my teenage daughter. Easy to assemble and very sturdy. Doesn't wobble when she gets in and out. Looks like it will last for years to come. Especially like the thickness of the slats. She won't be breaking them easily. Other daughter wants one too. She sleeps a lot better in this bed. Very comfortable. Great price and fast delivery. Arrived earlier than expected and the clear marking made it simple to assemble. Would buy from this company again no problem.

Basically what you get is a bed that would be 3 or 4 times the cost from anybody else. Part of the reason is that the bed is 'unfinished', it's bare pine and the sanding could use some refinement.That said it built easily and quickly and is immensely strong, I've tested it to over 40 stone and it didn't even creak! (do that at your own risk though).If you budget another £25 or so to refine the sanding and apply the finish of your choice you'll be very happy with the finished product.It was even delivered 6 days early (which may or may not be a good thing depending on your circumstances).

Amazing bed, very strong and sturdy. Made from decent very thick wood, replaced a metal bed that could be heard three towns over when my daughter turned over it squeaked so loudly...nothing but peace and quiet with this new bed. So pleased with it im planning on buying the same bed in a double size for myself.

Must read all the paperwork and instructions before you start. I live alone, and was able to assemble bed by myself, with due care and following instructions.Definitely recommend this company for the quality and value.

These are what beds should be: solidly designed and fundamentally sound. No weak slats or failing bars. No wobbly legs. I have gone through many cheaper beds - steel ones that bend, springy ones that just get worse. This construction is basic and simply and by far the best design for a handsome rugged bed that simply does its job.
