I’ve tried many products, but Moroccanoil Smoothing Lotion has become my absolute must-have before any hair styling. I apply it to damp hair, and it transforms the entire process. This lotion is incredibly effective at controlling frizz while beautifully enhancing curl definition without making my curls crunchy or weighed down. It works wonderfully on my fine-to-medium thickness hair that tends to be dry and frizzy. Even though my hair is on the finer side, it never feels greasy or flat — instead, it adds lightweight nourishment that improves overall hair condition. I have over processed hair-this smoothing lotion leaves a very light weight conditioning, which is GREAT! No frizzies, the fragrance is wonderful and oh my…..the SHINE!! My husband even uses it on his beard!! A little goes a long way! So great value!

This product smells great and goes on easily in the hair. It is not sticky.

My go-to! I love this stuff I have pretty thick hair as do my daughters. We live in WI so our summers tend to be humid and hot and our winters very cold. We also have the Moroccan oil but (I know I'm the minority) I like this so much better. It's not heavy or greasy. I have naturally curly hair that I typically straighten and this makes it smooth without weighing my hair down. In winter, it minimizes any static issues that I have like when I use just the oil. In summer, I still straighten my hair and it stays smooth and shiny, even in humidity. My girls have naturally curly hair and this gives them smooth and bouncy locks. If you know Moroccan oil products, you also know they smell amazing!!

I love this hair lotion - BUT it does have a heavy, lasting fragrance. It smells great. But it’s a lot IMO. I have dry and frizzy hair. This product really does help smooth and moisturize the hair. Be careful of adding too much and drying it in, makes hair heavy and greasy. I prefer to use once my hair is dried. Then applying the lotion. Then final style if curling etc. **If you are smells and fragrance sensitive, this may not be the product for you.**

This product is awesome. It gives your hair shine, and a silky smooth appearance without the greasy feeling or heaviness. You can apply to damp hair, or I have even applied it to my hair while it's dry to tame the static. Oh, and it smells absolutely delightful. I will even put a small amount on my 6 yr old hair wet hair so that it brushes out more easily after her bath.

Nice smelling product, thick consistency. It seems good for my hair but it's way too pricey...
