Sinatra '65

Sinatra 65 is a compilation of various singles and songs that were largely unreleased by sinatra on studio albums in the 60's. This has been a very rare album for some time but now you can enjoy some cracking Sinatra music for peanuts ! Between albums Sinatra would record the odd single,these were mainly done more commercially than his traditional music and were done to try and capture a more contemporary audience in the 60's,Some people don't like these songs but a lot of them were actually very good. "When somebody loves you" and "Somewhere in your heart" are very catchy and use more modern instruments such as guitar,bass and backing singers,although these songs won't trouble some of his best work they are still nice tracks and well worth having. Elsewhere "Luck be a lady" and "My kind of town" can be found on many a Sinatra compilation so although great tracks won't be a great deal of interest to dedicated Sinatra fans buying this. One of the main jewels in the crown here though is the classic van huesen/cahn penned "I like to lead when i dance " from the Robin and the 7 hoods movie, vintage Sinatra ! "Stay with me" from Sinatra's early 60's movie "The Cardinal" is also quite a rare song and very nice.If you have most of Sinatra's albums this is well worth picking up to add to your collection due to the rarity of some of the tracks.

loove this vinyl, The record label was all bubbled though on one side. Actual Vinyl surface was mint.

This is a pure must for anyone who loves the great man himself !!! this album is worth every penny at this price worth it for Stay with me and I like to lead when I dance. Pure genius!!

A fabulous CD of the this great man. Put the cans on and listen and enjoy.

this album seemed to get lost in the mists of time, so glad its back, a very enjoyable cd,full of great songs, frank at his best.
