Great book
I was so glad to find this book. It is interesting and informative. The editing is horrible if it was edited at all. But because I don’t know of any other book on this topic I’m willing to overlook the typos and some sentences that made no sense. There’s not much out there on the topic that I could find. I wish there was more advice on how to approach people in the church who are most likely unwittingly teaching things that are from the New Age thought. Also it’d be nice to have resources for youth (like a list of speakers who would come to churches to warn about this, maybe a seminar) to help them guard against this deception. That said, the good outweighs the bad. So I do recommend this book!I’ve grown concerned after observing and hearing some teaching at my daughter’s youth group that seemed off. New age thought and teachings are coming in through the youth group leader and his family. They used to be Mormon so I think maybe that’s why they have the tendency to lean toward New Age ideas and experiences and maybe he jumped into ministry too soon. I won’t question if his heart is in the right place or not. Apparently he has sacrificed a lot to be a youth group leader. But he is kind of arrogant and defensive whenever I try to talk to him about these things which is concerning. I actually don’t talk much and just listen because I want to hear and try to understand where he’s coming from. Praying for him is the best thing to do and equipping my daughter to discern. As I said I wish there was a little more advice in the book and resources to help spread the warning.

A must read!
Excellent book. Very well written, accurate and interesting. Explains where new age came from and written from a Christian perspective. I can see a Christian and non Christian enjoying this book. In depth look into new age from a historical and personal viewpoint. Christians need to learn more about this topic considering it is becoming so popular in our culture. Highly recommend reading thisUpdate:after reading the other ratings on here I think some people thought the book was not exactly what they expected or would have written.. which I guess is understandable because they did not write the book. But I don’t think that they should hold that against the authors or the book. Yes the information is heavy and very explanatory. It is more like a research book. One rater wanted it to be more simplified like for a child or teenager to understand but that is not what the book was intended to be. It is a mature in depth research into the new age movement. The other reviewer said they wanted it to be for only Christians. Yes the book only has a chapter on the infiltration of new age in the church but I think the point of the authors was to make the book palatable to Christians and non Christians which as I stated earlier I think it does a great job. A non Christian new ager is going to have no interest in reading an entire book on how new age has influenced the Christian Church but they may have interest in learning the roots of their beliefs and the consequences. Also how these new age beliefs do not hold up when compared to Christian theology. This book has more of an apologetics style and may be confusing or too “academic” for some but I found it to be great and learned a lot.

very good ...a little extreme...long
i too was once a new ager... not like these guys though. whoa this was intense and at parts scary... i was just a yogi type- trained as a vedic educator from Chopra himself.Jesus is the way hands down though... the thoughts and research in this book are great. The tone is a little intense which will likely offend and turn off new agers who havent realized the half truths of spiritual seeking new age world.Lastly authors you gotta read Imagine Heaven by pastor John Burke ffrom Austin Texas. All of Johns books have that loving voice of Jesus... this book lacks that loving voice but the passion in this book is nice.Back to Imagine Heaven by Burke on NDEs... this book popped the truth for me. my brother died for several minutes when he was 8 years old... then brought back to life and in a coma. his first words were of Jesus and asking to go to church. This experience caused my whole family to become Christian. So authors ought to dig a little deeper on NDEs...Lastly Pastor Burke taught in his book Mud and the Master Piece that many people are turned off by Christians as their behavior today is like the Pharisees of the Bible ... Jesus's love for all people is infinite. My inner dialogue is often making sure im not being a Pharisee.excellent book...thank you guys

New Age is an avenue for the AntiChrist
I read this well researched and Biblically accurate book because there is a certain verse in the Bible where the AntiChrist declares himself to be god:Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. (2 Thess. 2:3-4 NKJ)I can only figure that the New Age religions would allow such egotistical thinking; therefore, I wanted to be vigilant to the New Age tricks. In fact, after having studied Islamic influences I wanted to study Hindu cultural influence. The book was well written with outstanding and terrifying examples of the inside experience of the New Age religions by the authors themselves. The means of spiritual protection, warfare, deceptions, and leaders tactics were well exposed so that I feel comfortable to call out such errors to save these lost peoples. I can only pray that their book and ministry success flourish in these end times that we are facing.May our pastors not leave the Christian church vulnerable to such demonic deceptions!

Amazing
Great book. Thorough and easy to read. Stay away from new age practices my friends. Satan hates you anyways. Follow the real and only King instead, Yahuah!

All New Agers need to read this book
Steven Bancarz was one of the first testimonies I watched on YouTube as I was transitioning away from new age to Christianity, so I ordered this book as soon as I spotted it on Amazon. He is highly knowledgeable and has done amazing research over the years. I cannot put this book down and I recommend all New agers to read it.Thanks also to Josh whom I’ve only discovered while reading this book.

very revealing
This is a very honist and revealing book. The authors aren`t overly polite and carefull to bring you the truth about the new age, trying to avoid anyone to feel offended. They just tell it as they see it quite bluntly and I think that is ok because this way the message is loud and clear. There`s one point of critisism thoug, the book contains pretty long and frequent quotes from new-age sources that i find disturbing to read. I would like to be able to skip these, but because the new-age texts are in the same print as the text that expresses the authors current position, this becomes confusing. Its almost like you are forced to read the whole thing.I would like to strongly suggest to use a different font for both truth and untruth.
